MINISTER TO OPEN SESSION

In the last prayer line session, we looked at what deliverance was all about. We saw that it was a commission given by God to every believer to do as he did while he was on this earth. Seen in John 17:18 and in Mk 16:15-18. I want to congratulate you for making a decision to honor God’s command. (2 Cor. 7:1-2) It is my prayer that all those that would listen and partake in these training and deliverance session will constantly refresh themselves with all the lessons and make every effort to go in search for added information on this most necessary exercise, so that we can become well versed and effective warriors in in God’s army. There are countless souls waiting to benefit and be freed from what you are learning and will hopefully be passing onto others. The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

Today, we will continue to look at other lessons that are designed to educate us; that is, make clearer what biblical principles that need to be embraced along with what we can expect to take place as we go through the deliverance experience. A proper knowledge of the spiritual dynamics of the deliverance process will dispel any fears or apprehensions or myths that one might have as they go through the process. Another of the ways God’s command to us to go through this exercise is clearly seen in John 13:8. Peter says unto Christ, you shall never wash my feet, Jesus answered, If I don’t wash your feet, you have no part with me. KJV. The CEV VERSION SAYS, AT THE END OF THE STATEMENT (you don’t really belong to me).

Other reference scriptures to look at that will reinforce the above scriptures are 2 Cor. 7:1-2, 2 Tim. 2:21-22, Gal 5:24-25, Jer. 48:10

I. We are going to look some more at the deliverance ministry as it’s a wide ranging and very controversial subject.

STEP ONE – MORE ABOUT DELIVERANCE

* Deliverance is one area of the gospel of Christ that has been the subject of controversy for years but by God’s grace, many pastors are now coming to recognize the absolute importance/necessity of the deliverance process in securing the freedom of those who are in pursuit in the Christ life.

* It is simply the process of setting the captives free from satanic strongholds that have God’s people held in captivity.

* Deliverance has all to do with securing our freedom from the clutches of Satan and his fallen angels (principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places), marine powers, Jezebel powers, witchcraft powers and the earth bound demons which are the devil’s foot soldiers who demonize and torment our lives in a destructive manner. (spiritually, emotionally, physically, materially and relationally).

* In order for us to be victorious over these powers, we must be able to close the door to sin in every area of our lives as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ.

* This necessitates us engaging in a fierce ongoing battle with the arch enemy of our souls. (Satan and his fallen angels) Eph. 6:10-12

THE BATTLE TODAY: (EXCERPTS)

* Can be seen as Satan and his forces continue in their steadfast opposition against the overwhelming evidence that they will surely lose the battle.

* Dr. Chafer declared that Satan “is the living contender against the believer in the realms of spiritual life and activity as well as in the area of flesh and blood”.

* Satan and his fallen angels are sharply limited in power compared with God, for they are mere finite creatures who can do nothing outside the permissive will of God.

* Robert Peterson pointed out that, “The master passion of Satan for worship leads him to gain worship by whatever method brings the best results. He gains the worship of millions of intelligent people through counterfeit systems of truth, persuading them that he does not exist; or that he holds no dread for the educated and informed, who either belittle his influence or dismiss it as humbug. The superstitious on the other hand, are held in bondage by fear, a fear the western world cannot understand because it defies explanation”.

* As Mrs. George Needham observes concerning deliverance: “The root of idolatry is demonology. All its stupidity and senseless ceremony are but addenda to the main facts. The senses are gratified, the passions unloosed, the conscience deluded – but chief overall, Satan is worshipped.”

* It is a well-established truth that the demons and all their dupes have stubbornly rejected the Bible.

* We can say the same for Christians who reject any part of the Bible.

* There can be very little doubt that the demons do have a highly organized empire of evil.

* Peterson writes out of direct observation as a missionary in Borneo, he said, “I myself have heard through the lips of possessed persons two demons arguing over disputed territory.

* It seems and I would say it is pretty evident that demons have established boundaries over which they are not allowed to pass.

* Many in the deliverance field can attest to the fact that they have heard demons trying to assert authority over other demons.

* If the one trying to usurp authority is lower in rank than the other one, there is apt to be violence. On the other hand, if the demon is high in rank, other demons must submit to his higher authority.”

* “With those who are immersed in idolatry, Satan gains his end through fear, but with those who, having the Bible, should be acquainted with the Devil’s devices, his most effective work is that of deluding men into believing that all this talk of demonic activity is mere superstition and unscientific nonsense, so fulfilling Satan’s description as the one ‘who deceiveth the whole world’ (Rev. 12:9).”

* Michael Harper flashes the alert that, “Behind the facade of religious life there is a spiritual battle raging. There seem to be many who are not fully aware of this warfare. From time to time there is a dramatic collision between the power of the Spirit and that of Satan. Success for the Christian will depend in a large measure on recognizing the work of the Devil and knowing how to defeat and expel him from every situation. So it is today, there is a fierce conflict and there are those who do not wish to pass this way. But we cannot avoid the battle – for if we do not fight the enemy, as commanded by God, we are not only cursed but we open ourselves up to be attacked by the enemy. Jer. 48:10

* This conflict began long before the birth of Jesus and reached its height during His ministry. It will continue until Satan is thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.

* Early in this century, Mrs. Penn-Lewis noted, “It is clear in Bible history that the manifestation of the power of God at Pentecost, and through the Apostles, meant again an aggressive attitude to the powers of darkness. Therefore, the growth and maturity of the Church of Christ at the end of the dispensation will mean the same recognition, and the same attitude toward the Satanic hosts of the Prince of the Power of the Air; with the same co-witness of the Holy Spirit to the authority of the Name of Jesus, as in the early Church.

* In brief, that the Church of Christ will reach its high water mark, when it knows how to ‘bind the strong man’ by prayer; ‘command’ the spirits of evil in the Name of Christ, and deliver men and women from their power.”

* Harper wrote these encouraging words: “These wicked beings can suggest evil, but cannot coerce the will of another creature. They may spread snares and devices to ruin the children of God, but cannot compel any other being to comply with their designs, nor can they employ God’s creation other than as He decrees. They have never been able to defeat God, and actually God uses them as instruments to correct the erring saints” (Luke 22:31-32, I Cor. 5:5, I Tim. 1:20).

* Someone has remarked that Satan is like a monkey wrench which the Lord uses to tighten up loose nuts! Be of good cheer, saints of God! Satan is severely limited and all his bluster and bluff about ‘all power’ is sham. Our God is still on the throne and He rules! Hallelujah!

FURTHER COMMENTS ON DELIVERANCE

* God is sovereign and can do anything. However, He will not violate the Holy Bible.

* We will never reach the state of life where we do not make any mistakes in judgement or commit any sins and do have perfect knowledge like God. To be perfect you must completely follow the whole Bible and be like Jesus Christ continually.

* Many pastors and deliverance workers who have been subjected to deliverance have also been found to be in need of deliverance themselves. This is not uncommon; we all need to continue to maintain our deliverance.

* Our genuine desire is to see souls set free from their tormentors. There is no place in our lives for spiritual fantasy.

* Deliverance is a continuous learning experience and will be until we die. No one ever arrives in God’s Kingdom “on a red carpet.

”Much time, prayer, meditation, study, years of research, fasting and association with others as deliverance was carried out and thousands by Apostle Gene Moody, whom we have joined hands with to commit to training and raising up warriors who will carry out self-deliverance ministry on themselves and their loved ones around the world.

* This is in response to the Lord’s request to Apostle Moody to train him up warriors to set his people free. We have committed to taking up the challenge, hence, the main reason for establishing this deliverance prayer line and training ministry.

SO, IT IS NECESSARY THAT WE LEARN ABOUT THE REAL ENEMY (EXCERPTS)

There is one Satan – one individual not omniscient, omnipresent or omnipotent like God.

There are millions of fallen angels. Rev. 5:11 calculates at least 101,000,000 total angels. Rev. 12:4 calculates at least 33,700,000 fallen angels.

There are billions of demons. We only work with Christians and find that they have many demons. If the world has billions of people and Christians have many demons, then there must be many billions of demons.

Demons probably come from a Pre-Adamic Race but there is no scriptural REFERENCES that can be found to prove this statement.

Satan is in charge (Chief of Staff). The fallen angels are his officers. The demons are his foot soldiers.

It is Apostle Gene’s testimony that over a nine-month period, he and his team cast out over 10,000 demons out of one man. In the process, the demons talked and gave him vital information about their rank and number of them in the person. One demon said that a person could have tens of thousands of demons. This is probably someone that has worshiped Satan.

ON WITH THE BATTLE

We will be in a battle with Satan and his evil forces until we die. He never quits and we should never quit. Satan counts on us being quitters; we must persist!

The battle becomes fiercer as we are used more by God. However, the victories become greater and more pleasing to us and God.

Satan came to steal, kill and destroy; he works hard at his job. He will take everything from you that you will let him have.

Christians want to have their needs met quickly and easily. God simply does not work this way. You have to persist over a long period of time to restore your life. If it took you years to get into the spiritual and physical mess that you are in, why would you expect God to restore you overnight?

Christians expect God to be like a fast-food restaurant and to dish the food out on a silver platter. God cut a Covenant with you. He will always do His part but He will not do your part of the covenant.

Satan is a good Devil and works twenty-four hours a day at his job of destroying you. We need to be as good at being Christians as Satan is good at being evil.

You must learn what your condition is: mentally, physically, spiritually and materially. You must learn why you got into that condition so that you will not repeat the same mistakes.

There is no cure-all in the Bible. You must use all the provisions of the Bible to lead a balanced life. There are no short-cuts to a successful Christian life.

God realizes that the human race is lazy. We want what God has for us without having to put out much effort. That is why God requires us to work at being Christians.

The casting out of demons will not work by itself. It must be combined with teaching about deliverance and with the disciplining of your life. You must learn to change the way you think and act.

There is a curse against Christians who will not fight God’s battles (I Kings 20:35-42 and Jer. 48:10).

Probably the greatest hindrances in the lives of Christians are unforgiveness, rejection, bitterness and rebellion.

Christians will never conquer the world for God in their present condition without deliverance. The church is in a pitiful state. Christian is very demonized.

You must clean your house of cursed objects. You must do the things necessary to live a victorious Christian life: have a working knowledge of the Bible and put that knowledge into practice.

OVERALL VIEW OF DELIVERANCE

The best way to view deliverance is to look at what Jesus Christ did and said in the Bible. It is estimated that he spent a fourth to a third of his time teaching and ministering deliverance. If He thought it was that important, then we should too!

Deliverance consists of about three equal parts: teaching, casting out and counseling. There are many good books on deliverance and there is much in the Bible on this subject. The people need mass, group and individual deliverance. Finally, they need counseling so that they can discipline their minds and bodies.

Satan fights deliverance more than any other area of the Christian life. This is the last battleground to complete victory. When you get saved, you become a Foot Soldier. When you receive the Baptism, you become a Marine and are sent to the front line. When you enter into deliverance, you become a Paratrooper and are parachuted behind the Gates of Hell for all-out spiritual warfare.

Deliverance is the most controversial area of the Christian life. Christians generally either do not get involved or only get involved slightly. Because of this, there are weaknesses in the ministry of deliverance.

The biggest weakness is trying to cover deliverance by just casting out demons without proper teaching or counseling. Here, many Christians only go after the surface demons and do not go after the root causes of why the person got into those problems in the first place.

The second biggest weakness is not walking out the deliverance. After the demons are cast out, a person must change their ways of thinking and acting, or they will let the demons come back into them. A person needs extensive counseling to help them do this and they must decide to change their lives.

The third biggest weakness is the lack of teaching on deliverance. There is a large body of knowledge about deliverance, but you hear little practical teaching coming from the pulpit.

Deliverance will not be completely successful unless there is a balance in the church and in the congregation of teaching, ministry and counseling. We have seen partial failures because people relied on just casting out demons, not disciplining their lives or not studying deliverance.

We have never seen a Christian that was not helped in some measure by deliverance. The measure of success is mainly dependent upon the person receiving deliverance. They must be persistent and consistent. They must set their face like flint to walk out their deliverance over an extended period of time!

Deliverance Manual By Gene B. Moody

CHRISTIANS CAN HAVE DEMONS

* In 1 Corinthians 6:20, 7:23

1 Cor. 6:20 says, you are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and your spirit which are God’s.

1 Cor. 7:23 says, we are bought with a price; be not ye therefore servants of men.

* That passage is telling us that we are God’s personal property, paid for in full by His redeeming blood. That is saying that we are the exclusive property of the Lord Jesus Christ.

* There is no way that the devil can own or possess that which has been purchased in full by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

* However, it must be understood that when Jesus came into our lives, He came into our spirit.

* We are now hid in Christ in God, we are now new creatures in Christ in the spirit. 2 Cor. 5:17

* No devil can occupy where the spirit of the Lord is. Your spirit man is sanctified

* However, our souls are still in bondage to the enemy.

* The scripture says, that we must work out our own soul salvation with fear and trembling. Phil. 2:12

* 1 John 1:8-9 If we say, that we have no sin the truth is not in us. Vs9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

* It is an established fact that sin opens the door for the enemy to come in a wreak havoc in your life along with those that oppress you from outside.

* Ephesians 4:26-27 says, Be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Vs. 27 Neither give place to the devil.

The Lord is expressly telling you, do not allow the sun to go down and you still remain angry with those who offended you.

* Can you answer this question? How many believers in the church; pastors, members, that have had anger issues, emotional disturbances, struggling with lust and many addictions?

Are all such actions and emotional issues from the Lord?

* The Lord says in 2 Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

* James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

– The above scriptures are saying, envy, strife, confusion are the works of evil. Question: Who is the father of evil? See Eph. 2:1-2

Eph. 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins, Vs 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

* Let’s look at 1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings. (all these actions are that of spirits and you are responsible for casting them out of your life) Vs 2. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

COMMENT:

– The above two verses make clear that when you accepted Jesus into your life, you became born again, you are now a baby in Christ and very much a Believer.

– 2 Cor. 7:1-2 tells us, pp, seeing that you have received these promises, dearly beloved (reference to Believers) let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord.

– This simply means that we are solely responsible for taking the initiative with the help of the Holy Spirit which resides in our spirit man that gives us the divine enabling/ability to choose to cleanse ourselves from all evil activities, mindsets, dispositions,(this can only be done through deliverance which involves casting out the spirits of anger, envy, strife, confusion, perversion, lying, etc.)

– Other References: 2 Tim. 2:21-22

Question: What part of the personage does these emotions originate from. Is it the spirit or the soul?

* The soul is that part of the man that must serve God and this is the part that we are responsible for getting clean, that is, freed from demonic bondage. Lk. 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

– Is not patience and emotion? Wouldn’t you not say that impatience, if not attended to can become anger or strife, which is a clear indication of the devil’s influence in your life?

– Is it not also making clear that we have a responsibility to take action to address these emotional issues and ungodly practices of the flesh which originate from evil imaginations. Eph. 4:17-18

Other References confirming that Believers can have evil spirits are as follows: Mark 1:23-27, Matt. 15:22-28, Mk. 9:178-29. Lk 4:38-39 says in essence that the spirit of fever is a demon which leads you to easily conclude that we have many other spirits of infirmity. Lk 14:11-17, Acts 8:20-24, 2 Cor. 2:10-11, 2 Cor. 11:3-4 We are warned to be careful as believers not to receive another spirit other than the spirit of Christ which should have sovereign reign and rulership in your life.

1. There is much that can be said on this but for this lesson we will make some statements that will make it very clear that deliverance from evil spirits is the children’s bread.

OTHER GENERAL COMMENTS ON THE SUBJECT

There is nowhere in the Bible that says explicitly that a “Christian” can have a demon. But it does talk about “believers” having demons. Are you a believer? What is the difference? None! The multitudes that came to Jesus received deliverance; some were bound to be believers!

You can memorize the” Bible and go to Hell. No part of the Bible is any good to you unless it is used! Head knowledge will not get you to Heaven; it takes heart knowledge. Bible scholars can argue about theology until Jesus comes again and not settle the question of whether a Christian can have a demon; it takes experience.

We have seen leaders go into false doctrines. These can even be leaders that cast out demons. It appears that pride is their downfall. Pride is an abomination to God and is an active demonic area.

Several arguments are advanced to “prove” that under no circumstances can a born- again person have a demon. The most common statement is that a Christian cannot be “possessed”. This will be discussed later as a misnomer. The arguments in summary run something like this:

The believer is inhabited by the Holy Spirit; therefore, the demons cannot coexist within the same body. The proof text usually used is I Cor. 2:12; however, the verse does not say this.

Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil (I John 3:8), and indeed He did. In the case of problems caused by demons, the remedy and method of doing this is cast out the demons in His name.

The believer is delivered from the power of Satan and his demons (Col. 1:12-13; Eph. 2:1-3). Yes, but like many other promises, not automatically, but only as we voluntarily meet God’s conditions for deliverance.

IN CONCLUSION AFTER READING ALL OF THE ABOVE SCRIPTURES, IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT CHRISTIANS CAN HAVE DEMONS. DELIVERANCE IS REFERED TO AS THE CHILDRENS BREAD. MK 7:25-30.

LASTLY, I WILL ALSO MAKE CLEAR AS SHOWN IN SCRIPTURE: HEB. 4:12 THAT THE SPIRIT IS SEPARATE AND APART FROM THE SOUL. WHEN BORN AGAIN THE LORD JESUS COMES IN TO YOUR SPIRIT, YOUR SOUL WHICH HOUSES YOUR MIND, WILL AND EMOTIONS NOW HAS TO BE SET FREE BY YOUR INITIATIVE THROUGH THE DELIVERANCE PROCESS AS SHOWN IN THE ABOVE SCRIPTURES. THAT IS EVERY BELIEVER’S RESPONSIBILITY, NOT GOD’S.

STEP 2: THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER

1. The great commission sends us forth to spread the good news to the nations, Mark Mark 16:17-18 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18.They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

2. Matthew 28:18-19

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

  • When the good news of the gospel is preached, demons will manifest, even in the church.
  • JESUS IS TO BE OUR EXAMPLE AND EVERY WHERE HE WENT, PEOPLE MANIFESTED DEMONS AND HE DEALT WITH THEM. Luke 4:33

Luke 4:33-36

33 And in the synagogue, there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

34 Saying, let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

  • Note: Jesus dealt with these manifestations immediately as He preached the gospel of the kingdom.
  • However, there are other cases where a demon left that same hour. This shows us that some cases are more difficult than others. Usually, based on the individual’s degree of past or present involvement with things of witchcraft and the occult. (All deliverance ministers should gather from these experiences of Christ that our experience in dealing with the occult and witchcraft issues will determine how quickly we will be able to set the people free).

3. What we really need to understand here is that Jesus gave us authority in His name to cast out devils and to pull down strongholds and set His people free. This can be clearly be seen in the following passage of scripture where He gave commands to all of the disciples.

  • Mark 16:17 “These signs shall follow them that believe, they shall cast out demons.”
  • Luke 10:19 Behold I give you authority to trample on serpents and scropions and over all the power of the enemy.
  • John 14:12 Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in me, the works I do, you will do also; and greater works than these, he will do.
  • Matt 10:7-8 And as you go, preach saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely you have received, freely give.
  • Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
  • 2 Cor 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

  • Luke 4:18-19

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

DOMINION AUTHORITY GIVEN TO BELIEVERS BY JESUS CHRIST

  • Gen 1:26

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

  • Eph 6:10-13

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

  • As we move in this dunamis power and exousia authority we can and will be more than conquerors over the power of the enemy.
  • Rom 8:37

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

  • Eph 1:22 “And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church.”
  • Eph 2:6 “And raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
  • If we are seated with Christ and all things are under His feet, they are also under our feet. It is time take back what the enemy has stolen and to truly put him under our feet.
  • We sing about it, it is now time to start living it, walking in it and ministering in it in Jesus name.

II. In our first session, we did brief overview of forgiveness and its significance. Further on in our lessons we will now be sending two more lessons on Forgiveness and Unforgiveness.

1. WHAT DELIVERANCE IS

* Others coming alongside you to help you engage your will. It is your deliverance; we are there to assist you.

* Routing out the enemy who has gained access through sin, generational issues, unforgiveness, soul-ties, etc.

* A step towards walking in freedom. It is just one of the steps along with continuing to resist the enemy and renewing your mind.

* God delivers in many ways and continues to deliver us.

2. WHAT DELIVERANCE IS NOT

* It is not a cure all magic fix formula. You must walk it out.

* Something done to you rather than adjoining with you.

3. WHAT TO EXPECT

* Compassion – you will not be judged.

* Complete confidentiality – All involved have taken an oath of confidentiality.

* It is to be handled with respect and dignity.

4. HINDERANCES TO DELIVERANCE

* Continuing in present sin, known or unknown.

* Unwillingness to engage your will – that is a refusal to fight. Jer. 48:10

* You must line up under the truth of God and not the lies of the enemy.

* You must have a desire and a determination to be free. You must be desperate for your deliverance.

* Lack of openness and honesty. You must tell us what is going on (Be transparent)

* Unforgiveness issues – If you will not forgive, you will not experience freedom.

5. WHAT FORGIVENESS IS NOT

– What forgiveness is.

– How to forgive – 12 steps

NOTE: ALL THE ABOVE ON THESE SUBHEADS OF FORGIVENESS HAS ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED

We need to understand that to receive deliverance, it must be on God’s terms.

People want their deliverance on their terms.

As Christians, we don’t make the rules, we must follow the rules.

6. FASTING:

Is recommended for the person seeking deliverance as well as team members.

Fasting does something in the supernatural, it breaks the power of the enemy, in Mark 9:29, Jesus told his disciples; that kind only come out by prayer and fasting. We recommend that the team members should fast at least twice a week. Those seeking deliverance should fast as often as they can.

NOTE: Always remember, the devil is trying to destroy us, because he knows God has a plan for our lives. Our past hurts and areas of attack that we have experienced in our lives are usually proportionate to our calling and giftings.

7. SOME CAUTIONS

Some cautions that we all need to take heed of as we go into this ministry ordained of us by God as seen in all the scriptures so far. When we have gained confidence and experience in carrying out deliverance on our own selves, then we will be able to minister to our loved ones and in time God will more than likely have you ministering in the body of Christ as the Spirit leads.

a. Let us all be careful to be led of the Spirit when carrying out the ministry of deliverance. We must remember that we are confronting a spiritual enemy that will only respect those that are operating in the Spirit of God. If anyone challenges these powers in the flesh that will be the formula for failure with possible serious consequences.

b. When carrying out the deliverance ministry, it is important that we work in teams of at least two. It would of course be a lot better if you had four or five as each member of the team would be then given responsibilities to carry out in the deliverance process that would support that of the leader. For example: One person could be praying in the spirit, another can be reading scriptures to loosen the devils and if there is any need for the candidate to be restrained because of violent manifestation, then someone would be there to assist.

c. Luke 10:1 would confirm that it would be wise to work in pairs. However, It has been the experience of many in the deliverance ministry, that the angels of the Lord can always be summoned to restrict any violent actions of the devils in the person and so facilitate their quiet removal from the candidate. We should always seek to work in teams of at least two.

d. When ministering to a candidate, if it’s a male, there should be at least one male member on the team to lay hands on such an individual. The same is true when ministering to a female. One should only touch that part of their body; such as their arms, hands, shoulders, head or back. Men should not lay their hands on the female’s heart or stomach areas. The women can do so.

e. It is very unwise for opposite sexes to minister to each other. Many have fallen victim to ungodly sexual activities resulting from this kind of ministry.

f. Many in the field have used the bible symbolically in the deliverance process, that is, when calling out demons, generational spirits, foundational spirits to come out of one’s foundation or root. The Bible can be placed on the stomach, head or back and also when break masonic curses. It has been proven to be effective when forcing out spirits.

g. One should not carry out deliverance without being under the proper covering. This can be seen in Acts. 19 concerning the sons of Sceva.

* The deliverance exercise is not something to be taken lightly, it is a very serious operation.

* We need not be fearful because the Lord will place his angels to ensure that everything moves smoothly.

* Every Believer has been given authority over devils and to cast them out. This can be seen in Lk. 10:18, Matt. 10:7-8, Lk. 4:18, Lk. 9:1, Matt. 18:18

– We should all be endeavoring to memorize these warfare scriptures so you can flow with giving the commands as you call out the devils, standing on God’s word.

h. Do not become over fascinated by the demonic element as they are very clever and they could easily pull you into deception and cause you to lose your focus which should be on Christ and put it on them instead. This truth is born out in Lk 10 when Jesus sent out the 70 disciples and they came back rejoicing that the devils were subject to them in his name. Jesus responded by telling them that they should be more concerned with their names being written in the Lambs Book of Life than in seeing demons fleeing from out of people. This ministry of deliverance must be kept in proper balance.

We now look at this subject manifestations as it should make you more award of what can happen to the individual as they get their releases from demonic activity or what our actions/behavior can be like as demons manifest.

MANIFESTATIONS

1. The Bible gives us examples of evil spirits, manifesting in individuals before they are cast out. Some examples of demonic manifestations can be seen in:

Luke 9:39 which says, and lo a spirit taketh him and he suddenly crieth (scream) out and it teareth him that he foameth and bruising him hardly departeth from him.

2. Demonic manifestations will show up in different ways as demons are pressured through spiritual warfare.

Demons hate to be exposed. When exposed, they manifest in different ways. Satan and his demons are identified with serpents, seen in Luke 10:18-19,

Rev. 12:9 says, Satan and the devil which deceiveth the whole world.

3. These serpentine manifestations show up in:

* The tongue or causes the tongue to go in and out like a snake’s tongue.

* The eyes – takes on the characteristic of snake’s eyes. Most times the candidate has his eyes closed – the demons are trying to hide their presence.

* The eyes normally reveal their presence more readily.

* The nose – – the person blows air through the nose and makes a hissing sound.

* Sometimes they are thrown to the floor and his body writhe like a serpent.

* Some other common manifestations can be seen as follows:

* Through the hands – – the hands may become extended and rigid. These demons are usually lust and murder. Wrong use of the hands will show spirits manifesting in different ways. Sometimes you can dislodge the spirits by shaking the hands vigorously.

* Arthritic spirits are often manifested in the hands. The hands become stiff and the fingers gnarled. When the spirits are challenged, the hands can take on the appearance of someone who had arthritis for years and is crippled by it.

* The person may be in pain and twisted in the body.

4. THE DEATH SPIRIT – – Usually is present in those who were close to death through sickness, serious operations or attempted suicide. When the death spirit manifest, the eyelids are open and the eyeballs roll up in the head. The skin takes on a waxen pallor of death.

5. ODORS – – This is another way demons show up, for example: cancer when cast out can give an odor like you are in a cancer ward.

6. By making loud and garbled voices. See Mark 1:23, Lk 4:41, Acts 8:7

NOTE: When someone is involved in witchcraft, one should read from scripture sections dealing with witchcraft and similar practices. For Example: Deu. 18:9-15. While these scriptures were read, this particular candidate screamed out and her fingers clawed out the verse that was read in the deliverance minister’s bible. The spirit of witchcraft must be cast out and its related spirits and other manifestations.

7. THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE: This spirit can manifest in different ways. It may cause the person to tilt his head back with his nose stuck high in the air and his chest drawn up high.

Someone who talks too much, can’t stop talking – always wanting to control the discussion – always butting into people’s conversation – finds it hard to allow others to speak are sure signs of pride at work. This spirit was commanded to name itself, it identified itself as the spirit of importance.

Some spirits manifest as pantomiming.

When you see a person obsessed with worldly dancing they would “rather dance than eat”. When you challenge that spirit, the individual will start to sway rhythmically, his hands moving back and forth in a clapping motion, his/her mouth moving as if singing but no sound coming forth, etc. Their hips begin to gyrate, and vibrate. The individual may have been a profession dancer, example: A go dancer, this could be the ruling spirit in the person.

8. There may also be manifestations of someone shaking (body vibrating), blaspheming, zombie looks, making sounds like a dog, cat., different anomalistic sounds, particularly when dealing with witchcraft spirit guides or animal guides, these sounds may become evident.

9. Other manifestations are crying, vomiting, bringing up lots of mucus, dribbling from the mouth, burping or belching, passing wind, coughing, sneezing, yawning, popping of the ears.

These are just a few of the manifestation that can be seen when dealing with ministering to those who are demonized. As your experience grows in this ministry, you will detect more manifestation. The Holy Spirit will also reveal them to you as you engage in this ongoing battle of spiritual warfare against the demonic realm which is our God given mandate. Lk. 10:18-19, Mk 16:15-18, Lk 9:1

I WILL NOW AT THIS JUNCTURE HAND OVER THE REST OF THIS SESSION TO MIN. MARY WHO WILL TAKE US THROUGH THE NECESSARY PRAYERS AND THE SPIRITUAL DYNAMICS THAT WILL ENGAGE THE ENEMY IN WARFARE FOR EXAMPLE TAKING ON THE CORONAVIRUS AND OTHER BONDAGES.

ATTACK AGAINST CORONAVIRUS

Isaiah 53:4-5 4Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Isa. 53:4-5 Says, we are healed, right now (singular, plural) 2,000 years ago

1 Peter 2:24 Says, we were healed (singular, plural) 2,000 years ago

QUESTION: If we were healed over 2,000 years ago, why we in Christendom are dying before our time. The answer is found in Nahum 3:1-4

Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not;

The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots.

The horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses:

Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

This scripture is saying that nations and families are sold by witchcraft. Our lives are being taken captive by unseen enemies that are sending arrows at us while we sleep; destroying our marriages, children, our health.

I was told by a reformed warlock from Africa that America has become the headquarters for witchcraft. Because so many people have come from so many different countries with different religions that practice witchcraft as they serve their gods. There are different kinds of witchcraft: White, Black and Red. For the first time in history, witchcraft has been practices in the White House and Witchcraft Rituals performed on the step of the White House. Many Believers just beginning to understand that these practices are dangerous and are starting to learn spiritual warfare.

Back to the coronavirus; Psalms 91, 5-13 And I will focus on Verse 13

Psalm 91:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

God made a promise to protect us but Verse 13 Shows us how to defeat the deadly pestilences and fatal diseases.

The Word Tread or Trample: means to kick, beat, tread, grind, stamp, trample down. These words sound like there is a real fight going on. When you look at it, the Our Father prayer is not a warfare prayer and is not appropriate for this scenario.

Psalm 144:1 King James Version (KJV)

144 Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

For those who have not done warfare prayers before, we are endeavoring to teach you through these prayer points. (Jer. 23;29)

We must first destroy COVID-19’S power source.

1. Power base of COVID-19, MERS, SARS, HIV, and all other virus strains, Die, Die, Die, Die, in the name of Jesus.

2. Holy Ghost Fire burn to ashes the crown of COVID-19, in the name of Jesus.

3. We trample down the lion, adder, young lion and the dragon of COVID-19, in the name of Jesus.

4. Arrow of COVID-19, backfire, in the name of Jesus.

5. We bind and cast out, infection and bacillus, in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord, let the blood and water of Jesus, flush out my blood and water, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God arise and scatter COVID-19, in the name of Jesus.

8. My Father, My Father, My Father, release your ax to chop off the head of every serpent of COVID-19, in the name of Jesus.

9. The glory of the protection of the Almighty, shall be upon my life and family, in the name of Jesus.

10. I declare and decree, that all 39 systems of my body are healed by the strips of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

CLOSING DELIVERANCE PRAYER

Bind any spirits that are left in this person, separately in uncomfortable boxes with the angels reading scriptures to them and the shekinah glory of God, shining on them until this person receives more deliverance. If any evil spirit wishes to come out decently and in order, they may go with the angels that are waiting to take them wherever Jesus wants them to go.

2. All spirits that have come out during this deliverance must leave this person and this area and go with the angels wherever Jesus wants them to go and we forbid you not to return. We ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom to fill every vacancy that now exists with godly attributes so there is no space for a spirit to return.

3. We forbid all retaliation, backlash and vengeance from evil spirits on this person or family, property, finances, pets, or any of the deliverance workers, their families, properties, finances, or those that they pray for.

4. We thank the angels for doing battle for us in the heavenlies and for taking these spirits away, we thank the Holy Spirit for wisdom to fill the vacancies and for healing any wounds left as the demons come out. We thank you Jesus for the use of your name and for your protective blood. We thank you heavenly Father, for your love and mercy from everlasting to everlasting.

5. We lose spirits of truth, deliverance, adoption, counsel, might, wisdom, understanding,

and revelation knowledge of the word of life, etc. upon the person delivered.

6. We ask all the above prayers in the blessed name of Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, we praise Almighty God from whom all blessings flow. Amen
