LESSON #44 BREAKING THE CURSE OF AHAB AND JEZEBEL

All lessons are designed to educate and equip everyone to effectively do self- deliverance and to be able to help others as led by the Lord.  The lessons should be followed in chronological order to derive maximum benefits.

As we continue our studies of deliverance, (ministering, and applying to our own lives) we are finding out how strong curses and soul-ties are and how closely they work together to bring total destruction to a person’s life, destiny, health and walk with the Lord. It is clear that in order to be completely free of any bondage in your life, you must be willing to agree to what the word says about these bondages and be willing to seek the Lord to set you free. If we continue doing the same thing, getting the same results, we must continue our asking, seeking and knocking. Mat. 7:7, until we get the results we need.

The curse of Ahab and Jezebel can be traced all the way back to Adam and Eve. It can be found through the Bible being manifested in different families. The relationship of Ahab and Jezebel provides an excellent illustration of the curse brought about by the husband and wife being out of God’s divine order for the family.

God puts the greatest burden of responsibility on the men, not the woman. If the men were not Ahab’s and were in fact, priests and heads of their homes, the women would not be Jezebels! The man cannot escape his responsibility by blaming his problems on the woman. Men also have Jezebel tendencies; women – Ahab tendencies.

“Everyone is affected from 10 generations back to today through sins of your ancestors, mates, sexual partners, school, job, church, anyone who has had authority over you to bless you or curse you, you must look at your whole lifetime for good or evil.” (Quotation from Gene B. Moody)

  1. When dealing with spirits that have taken on the name of a real person: Rev. 2:20-23

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

According to the word of God, angels usually appear as males, though their celestial estate can’t be compared to our human definitions of sexuality (Matt. 22:30). Therefore, it can be assumed that the demonic manifestation of Jezebel, a male demon, may for the purposes of evil appear in feminine form. When the pronouns “she” or “her” are used in reference to Jezebel as an evil spirit they should not be taken as a literal gender identification. Female pronouns will be employed as a literary device referencing the “female” activity and intent of Jezebel as a fallen angel.

(Jezebel in the Bible was a real person – Queen of Israel by the marriage to King Ahab), you must first look into that person’s bloodline to determine what kind of lifestyle brings on this curse.

  1. When one has this spirit in their lives, God is the one that’s calling you or any other person with that spirit, a “Jezebel.”

What we are saying here is that this Jezebel spirit had a legal right, handed down from Adam and Eve to control Jezebel, the Queen to do wickedly, so much that it ended in the cruel judgment of God. (She died a horrible death). God still feels the same way about this spirit operating in anyone that He created.

Let’s start by looking at the root cause of Jezebel’s demonic character. We start this study with Jezebel because her husband, Ahab, followed her leadership.

Firstly, lets talk about some of the things that opens the doors for the spirit of Jezebel to enter into a person. 1) Rejection by Father 2) Sexual abuse/Rape/Incest/Ritual abuse 3) Hatred of Men 4) Men’s only agenda for a woman is sex 5) All men are alike 6) Generational and current sins.

  1. Jezebel’s name in Hebrew means “the exalted one” “Where is the Exalted One” Her “The Prince Lives” “Prince.”
  2. Jezebel’s father’s name was Ethbaal/Ithobaal meaning “with the Lord” The verb part of his name means “to exercise dominion over” “to own” “control or be lord over”
  3. He was the king of Tyre. It is said that the previous king, Phelles, “Was slain by Ithobalus, the priest of Astarte (Astarte was connected with some combination of war, sexuality, royal power, healing, hunting) Greeks in classical, Hellenistic and Roman times occasionally equated Aphrodite with Astarte and many other Near Eastern goddesses.

COMMENT:

  1. What do priests, prophets and kings do in their homes? They are prophets who speak the word over their households, priests who give themselves to intercessory prayer, speaking to God on behalf of their loved ones, and kings who govern, defend and provide for them. It is their privilege to speak the words of God in their homes to their family. (Excerpt: desiringgod.org)

QUESTION: Men: Are we walking in these God ordained roles?

Due. 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19. Teach them to your children, speaking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Whether the husband/father is a godly priest or an evil priest, the rule in that household brings upon the entire family either the blessings of God or the Curse of God. Joshua 7 shows how a husband/father can cause a whole family to get killed because of his sinful ways. God still hates sin.

ETHBAAL (Jezebel’s Father)

BLOODLINE: Abd ‘Ashtart of Tyre High Priest of Astarte (Ethbaal was the son of this high priest), he was the husband of Dau bat Abd Astarte of Tyre High Priestess of Astarte, and the father of Jezebel and her brothers.

Jezebel was surrounded by the worship of Baal on both sides of her family and was groomed to be a Baal worshipper.

3. Baal Worship, History Polytheism (belief in or worship of more than one god). Then the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord, served the Baals and the Ashtaroth, the gods of Aram, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the sons of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines; thus, they forsook the Lord and did not serve Him. Judges 10:7

There is an abundance of information concerning Baal worship on the internet but for the sack of breaking the curse of Ahab and Jezebel, we will only deal with the sins that brought the curse into their lives.

  1. Baal – Name means “lord”
  2. Baal’s worshippers appeased him by offering sacrifices, such as sheep or bulls. 1 Kings 18:23
  3. Scholars believe that the Canaanites also sacrificed pigs which God prohibited his people from eating pork in part to prevent this horrible cult from being established among them.
  4. At times of crisis, Baal followers sacrificed their children, usually the first born of the community to gain personal prosperity. The Bible called this practice detestable Deu. 12:31, 18:9-10. God specifically appointed the tribe of Levi as his special servants in place of the Israelites, so they had no excuse for offering their children.
  5. Asherah, a form of Baal worship included ritual sex. Although she was believed to be Baal’s mother, she was also his mistress.
  6. Pagans practiced “sympathetic magic”, that is, they believed that could influence the gods’ actions by performing the behavior they wished the gods to demonstrate. Believing the sexual union of Baal and Asherah produced fertility, their worshippers engaged in immoral sex to cause the gods to join together ensuring good harvests. This practice became the basis for religious prostitution (1 Kings 14:23-24)
  7. The priest (which Ethbaal was one) or a male member of the community represented Baal.
  8. The priestess or a female member of the community represent Asherah.
  9. In this way, God’s incredible gift of sexuality was perverted to the most obscene public prostitution.

COMMENT: The study on soul-ties comes into play here. A soul-tie is like an electrical conduit, so whatever was in Ethbaal’s parents went into Ethbaal – an evil king that was an assassin to get his position as king and child murderer. Ethbaal and his wife, produced evil sons and daughters that lived the same perverted life producing the notorious evil character, namely Jezebel.

CHILDREN ARE PRODUCTS OF THEIR PARENTS

The fathers eat sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge. “Like father, like son” or Like mother, like daughter” Ezek. 16:44

QUESTION: How could Jezebel have behaved like a Jew (her husband Ahab was Jewish) He was the first Jew to cross over to marry outside of their people which God had forbidden.

Instead of Ahab standing up for his Jewish beliefs, he allowed Jezebel to lead him into the worship of Baal. It is believed that this was not that difficult because the perversion was very appealing to the Israelites.

Whatever faith the father of a home believes in, that is what God honors, and the family will suffer the consequences of that faith if outside of God’s laws and commands. God hates the occult, and he will patiently wait for change, but after a while God will begin to judge that home as wicked and will begin the chastisement and from chastisement to utter destruction if the father/husband does not turn from his wicked ways. The story of Achan in Joshua 7:19-26 shows us how God was angered when he took some of the spoil that was not to be taken, brought a curse on Israel and his whole household. Israel lost a battle because of one man. The Lord had Joshua to stone Achan and his whole family and all that he owned was burned to ashes,

The same is true when a father/husband sin against God in worshiping other gods or being involved in occultic practices, everyone in that family will be oppressed by occult demons, lust, and everything that comes with those powerful spirits. Eventually, the whole family will be overtaken with witchcraft, prostitution which will lead them to their final destination – hell.

God says that Jezebel refused to repent. Rev. 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication (perversion) and she repented not. God is saying, that if she repented and cast out the spirits that came into her, He would forgive her and even save her if she would obey Him.

This spirit has been handed down from generation to generation and what you see daily is the spirit of Jezebel in every aspect of life: from politics to social media, education, etc. Some Jezebels are hard to detect but others are very aggressive with their wiles, seduction, witchcraft and control (a control freak). Therefore, we, the body of Christ, must repent because we have refused to preach the full gospel of Jesus Christ, (God has allowed the spirit of Jezebel to fill the house of God because of its rebellion – not embracing one third of Jesus’s ministry of deliverance). We must repent and ask God for forgiveness so that he can forgive us and set us and our children free from Ahab and Jezebel in Jesus name.

AHAB’S BACKGROUND:

Ahab’s father was Omri, who was founder of the short-lived Omri dynasty, seems to have been a successful military leader. Omri was a wicked ruler and he taught his sons his wicked ways.

Ahab was deemed to most wicked king of Israel. God stated that he did more evil in his eyes than any other king before him. When he married Jezebel, the soul-tie combined all the demons together and brought about the most wicked couple and wicked reign in Israel. Their evil behavior brought the horrific judgment upon them: the evil Queen, himself and his son. To put this in perspective: when you have Jezebel with all the Baal demons in her and Ahab with all the demons from his life, then the manifestation could only be pure corruption.

LET’S PRAY: (BOTH AHAB AND JEZEBEL PRACTICED THE SAME WORSHIP OF BAAL – BOTH MUST REPENT AND RENOUNCE THROUGH THIS PRAYER)

Father, I cry out to you and ask that you have mercy on me, my family and future generations in Jesus name. I repent for being a Jezebelic and or Ahab, woman/man. I repent, break and renounce, all the ways I walked in the curse and the ways of my ancestors, I forgive my ancestors for practicing: sins of idolatry, demon worship, witchcraft and occultism, occultism abuse, babies blood, abortion, occultic blood line, witchcraft, incest, New Age, ritual rape, blood sacrifice, Janus, Jezebel embedded in the mind and emotions, hatred of religious piety, competition and accommodation, compromise, temple prostitution, licentious rituals, infanticide, accoutrements of witchcraft, seduction, satanic scheming, satanic makeup (lipstick, false eyelashes etc.), political control, feminist, sorcery, nefarious damnation, diabolical cunningness, diabolical design, sympathetic magic, religious prostitution, representation of Baal, public prostitution, hatred of men/women, fear of men/women, lust, adultery, divorce, perversion, child abuse, shedding innocent blood, all sins of stubbornness and rebellion and evil heart of unbelief. I forgive my father and my mother for not raising me up in the admonition of the Lord, for worshipping other gods and goddesses. I renounce, break and destroy all worship of Baal including:

I renounce, break and destroy all forms and practices of Jezebel and Ahab:

Ishtar – Daughter of Sin, the moon god, the goddess of love, which ritual prostitution was practiced

Anat – Baal’s mistress, she was the virgin that conceived and was the victor over Baal’s enemies. Sometimes identified with the “queen of heaven”. The patroness of sex and passion.

Ashtoreth – goddess of the moon, sexuality, sensual love and fertility. Associated with the worship of Baal.

Diana – Same as the Greek goddess Artemis,, virgin goddess of the hunt and the moon.

Aphrodite/Venus – born of the foam of the sea, floated in a shell on the waves and landed on Cyprus near Paphos.

Isis – The Egyptians believed the dead go to a territory ruled by Osiris. The myth of Osiris’s death and resurrection stimulated the Egyptians hope of immortality.

Kali – A Hindu goddess, depicted black with bulging eyes. In one hand holds a sword and the other hand holds the head of her decapitated lover.

I RENOUNCE, BREAK AND DESTROY EVERY POWER OF SUTTEE AND REINCARNATION, AND ALL SUICIDAL SACRIFICE OF HINDUISM, BE DESTROYED, BE DESTROYED, BE DESTROYED, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

This spirit is infamous for seducing her lovers and then, at the moment of orgasm, taking their lives. She is feared for her sexual powers and bloodthirsty prowess, and murderous manifestation of the Jezebel spirit.

Lilith – Judaism taught that Adam’s first wife was Lilith and supplanted by Eve, and subsequently became an evil spirit. In medieval demonology she morphed into an infamous witch and sorceress, the ultimate power of womanhood with unequalled powers of sexual deception and persuasion. This spirit is responsible for the killing of babies (abortion is an example).

Moloch (the Canaanite god of infanticide) work in concert with Jezebel

Mammon (wealth regarded as an evil influence or false object of worship and devotion. You cannot serve God and Mammon). Matt. 6:24

Father, I ask that you revoke the curse of Jezebel and Ahab off of my life, my descendants and future generations. According to Gal. 3:13, You have redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree. You also said Lord, if I confess my sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I renounce, break and destroy every evil altar that was formed from the curse of Jezebel and Ahab, I pull down every evil altar that’s in agreement with Baal and all that it means. I pull you down and destroy you, in Jesus name. I pull you down in Jesus name. (Repeat as often needed to get your release).

Every soul-tie: I break all evil power, possession, and authority that my father and my mother had over my life, and ancestors through illicit sex acts they committed. I break all evil power, possession and authority over everyone they had sex with Jezebel and Ahab and all those I had sex with. Break, Break, Break, in the name of Jesus

Father, I ask that you restore the fragments of my soul as they were when you created Adam and Eve. Heal my wounds and scars in Jesus name.

I thank you Father for hearing my cry, deliver me completely from the curse of Jezebel and Ahab. I believe that if I ask anything according to your will, you will hear and answer me according to Isa. 55:11. Lord answer this prayer by fire, in Jesus name. Amen

  1. Blood of Jesus, flush out every form of Jezebel out of my mind, will and emotions, spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus.
  2. I break all evil power, possession and authority that Jezebel and Ahab has over my life, destiny and future, break, break break in the name of Jesus..
  3. I strip Jezebel, Ahab, Mammon and all your cohorts of all their power, I paralyze you, dismantle you, destroy you and shut down your operations in my life, in the name of Jesus.
  4. Come out of every system in my body in the name of Jesus.
  5. All damage done to my RNA and DNA be reversed by fire in the name of Jesus.
  6. I break all evil power possession and authority of every sex partner Jezebel and Ahab ever slept with and all they slept with in Jesus name.
  7. O Lord my Father, heal me of every sickness and disease that Jezebel and Ahab brought into my body, in the name of Jesus.
  8. I now execute judgment against Jezebel, Ahab, Mammon and all cohorts and send them to the pit. Go now to the pit Jezebel, Ahab and Mammon.
  9. I bind all your cohorts into one and command all of you to Go in the name of Jesus.
  10. Lord release your army of angels to assist in this battle, in Jesus name.
  11. My Father, My Father, I cry out to you, save my soul and set me free in Jesus name I pray.
  12. Thank you, Father, for your tender mercies for they are from everlasting to everlasting.
  13. Heal my spirit, soul and body in the name of Jesus.
  14. I love you Lord and I’m believing, trusting and relying on you to deliver me from every evil work and preserve me unto your heavenly kingdom, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
