– We renounce and destroy every power assigned to monitor this prayer line to block, hinder, cancel or reverse our prayers, we call down the fire of God to fall upon their heads and into the devil’s camp once and for all, in the name of Jesus.
– We declare and decree by faith that everyone on this prayer line or those who go on the website will receive their deliverance as they walk it out in the name of Jesus.
– We forbid any transference of spirits from ministers or anyone on this prayer line to anyone.

As we seek to fight the good fight of faith to lay hold to eternal life. 1 Tim. 6:12, we have an enemy that is fighting back. One thing that has occurred in the life of some of us is that he has started using tiredness, weariness, sleepiness. We must overcome this by exercising due diligence to destroy the works of our flesh to overcome this attack.

1. Power of grave clothes of lethargy, lukewarness, sleepiness, half-heartedness, slothfulness assigned against me, I dismantle and uproot you by fire, in the name of Jesus.

3. All grave clothes placed upon my spirit, soul and body, I renounce you, burn to ashes in the name of Jesus.
4. I renounce and reject and destroy, grave clothes assigned against me, burn to ashes by the fire of the Holy Ghost.

BINDING AND LOOSING
Today we are going to look at the lesson on binding and loosing. This key principle is extremely important when waging warfare against the powers of darkness that are resident in people’s lives. We are going to list several scriptures that have to do with powerful weapons that the Lord has instructed us to apply as we do battle against the forces of darkness.
Matt. 18:18 Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matt. 16:19 And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, shall be loosed in heaven.
James 4:7 Submit to God; resist the devil and he shall flee from you.
Rev. 20:2 And I saw an angel coming down out from heaven having the key to the abyss and holing in his hand a great chain. He sees the dragon, that ancient serpent which is the devil or Satan and bound him for a thousand years. An angel binds Satan for a thousand years so there is a precedent (prior in time, order, arrangement or insignificance)
Paul teaches that there is a spiritual teaching of discernment that is accessible to believers so that we are able to know what is going on in the demonic realm In addition to submitting to God as shown in James 4:7, we are required to resist the enemy so that they will flee from us. We see that Jesus dealt with the demonic realm as he ministered the gospel of the kingdom, primarily as it had to do with the casting out of devils out of the lives of people. We see where our Lord trained his disciples in carrying out this command.
The Bible regards in Mark 16:15-18 that believers were known by the carrying out of this command. It is therefore clear that the disciples of Christ have been given authority as seen in the above scriptures to bind on earth that which is bound in heaven and to loose on earth that which is loosed in heaven. This lines up with our Lord’s prayer when he prayed to the Father in John 17:18 As you sent me Father into this world, so have I sent them. Which is telling us that whatever Jesus did, by the authority given him by his Father, so too has he given us, the authority to bind and to loose in the process of setting the captives free.
The word bind means to tie or to fasten something tightly, to cohere or cause to cohere in a single mass.
Mark 3:27 and Matt. 12:29 tells us that before we can enter a strongman’s house, we must first bind the strongman before we can spoil his house. That is, obviously applying to demonic spirits.
* It is clear from the above scriptures that the believers have been given authority over the demonic realm. Lk. 10:18, Matt. 10:7-8, Lk. 9:1
* When binding up the spirits in someone you do not have to speak it out audibly before the person for this could further agitate the spirit in the individual.
* Carrying out this command has yielded great results in the lives of many believers and in seeing their loved ones coming to salvation and being freed from their bondages.
* There is a significant difference between binding up spirits and deliverance. A bound spirit can be loosed by a person’s free will so that in fact the binding operation will only last for as long as the person’s free will is in not in operation.
* The length of time one can be bound for can be minutes, hours, days, weeks or more, because the person’s free will is able to loose themselves from it.
* It has been well established in the deliverance arena, that if you carry out this operation in your deliverance ministry, great results will be seen to take place and this will confirm indeed that the struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces in heavenly places. Eph. 6:12
BINDING AND LOOSING
SOME TRUTHS AND CHARACTERISTICS ABOUT A STRONGMAN
NOTE: Will say more on the strongman later in subsequent lessons.
1. There is a difference between a strongman and an evil spirit.
– Both are evil spirits.
– However, the strongman is what we refer to as the leader or he has more authority than the regular evil spirits.
2. The strongman is regarded as the gatekeeper of the stronghold; he fortifies the stronghold stationing demons to protect the stronghold and secure its position.
3. The strongman guards something of that is great value to the victim and strategizes how to hold the captive to that thing he values the most or he prevents you from achieving that which is valuable in your eyes.
4. When the devil finds out what is valuable to you, he locks you in so that you can’t escape or he locks you out so that you can’t attain your dreams.
5. The strongman controls the movement of demons related to the stronghold.
6. The prime objective when dealing with strongmen is that you must be able to destroy/plunder his possession and reclaim all that he robbed you of.
– This exercise can be seen in Matt. 12:29 when Jesus raised the question as shown in the scripture.
7. The strongman’s house is the stronghold. This is the place where he stores all the goods that he has stolen from you.
– Jesus is telling us in the above passage, that we cannot enter a strongman’s house to reclaim your goods before you first bind up the strongman rendering him incapable of resisting your commands.
8. If someone does go into a strongman’s house without a proper plan that person could end up becoming a prisoner also of the strongman.
9. If the individual is weak, that would not be of any regard to the strongman for you will not be able to prevent him from being in charge of his evil doings. He will in fact be controlling you and not you controlling him.
10. It is your responsibility to plunder/spoil the goods of the strongman.
12. When you do not spoil the goods of the strongman, you have resigned yourself over to become a prisoner of the stronghold, so you now become an added part of the stronghold.
– For the goods to be transferred and blessed, the goods have to be first spoiled.
– The Greek for spoil means to plunder or seize and in the process of spoiling you should be able to avoid taking on the spirits that came with the good.
13. If you cannot avoid the spirits that come with the goods, then you become a part of the accursed thing – a prisoner of the stronghold.
14. Remember, it is a fact that demons take on personalities in order to carry out their job functions.
15. So before you bind a strongman, you must be able to identify/observe the manifested behavior of those spirits as the behavior pattern will reveal the true character of the spirit you are dealing with.
16. The example of a strongman in the bible is seen in Isa. 27:1. This shows you a spirit that specializes in his function – leviathan who is the king over the children of pride.
17. Another instance of demonic characteristics can be seen in Mark 5:9 when the demonized man spoke in response to Jesus’ question. My name is legion for we are many.
– This answer shows us that there was a ruling spirit in the person’s life, that is why he used the term ‘My name is legion.
– You see when the demon said, “we are many” is making clear that there are different roles that are played by various levels of demons in the individual.
SATAN’S POWER CAN BE SEEN IN OPERATION THROUGH HIS FALLEN ANGELS AND EARTHBOUND SPIRITS/STRONGMAN AND ORDINARY DEMONS AS LISTED:
a) Permitted to afflict the righteous. Job 1:12; b) Claims authority over the world. Lk 4:6; c) Sinners under the dominion of Satan’s power. Act. 26:18; d) Blinds the minds of unbelievers 2 Cor. 4:3-4; e) Contends with the saints. Eph. 6:12 f) inspires lying wonders 2 Thess. 2:9; f) His malignity seen in tempting to disobedience. Gen. 3:4-5; g) Slandering the saints. Job. 1:9-11; h) Inflicting disease. Job. 2:7; i) Opposing the righteous Zach. 3:1; j) Tempting Christ. Matt. 4:1; k) Removing the good seed. Matt. 13:19; l) Sowing the tares. Matt. 13:38-39; m) Deceiving soul and body. Lk 9:42; n) Lying Jn 8:44; o) Instigating man to sin. Jn 13:2; p) Preying upon men 1 Peter 5:8; q) Arch deceiver, attempts to ruin man by: Lying Promises Gen. 3:5; Wresting the scriptures Matt. 4:6; Cunning plans. 2 Cor. 2:11; Appearing as an angel of light 2 Cor. 11:14;
It is very clear from all the above scriptures, our fervent duty if we are to be overcomers is to resist Satan steadfastly and that includes binding and casting him out of our lives. See. Eph 4:26-27, Eph. 6:;11, Ja. 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8-9
NOW TO GET BACK TO THE HEART OF THE SUBJECT WHICH IS BINDING AND LOOSING, WE WILL CONTINUE WITH EXCERPTS FROM FRANK AND EDA MAE HAMMOND, AND HORROBIN.
REFER TO FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES:
Matt. 12:29 Or else how can one enter a strongman’s house and spoil his goods except he first bind the strongman and then he will spoil his house.
Mark 3:27 No man can enter a strongman’s and spoil his goods except he will first bind the strongman and then he will spoil his house.
Lk. 11:21-22 When a strongman armed keepeth his palace his goods are in peace. 21. But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor (complete armor = shield, sword, lance, helmet, greaves, breastplate, wherein he trusteth and divideth his spoils.
- From those experienced in the deliverance ministry such as Frank and Eda Mae Hammond and Horrobin and as seen from the words of Jesus, the statement, to bind the strong man is seen as very practical and a necessary procedure in the course of the deliverance ministry.
- However, from their experiences, it is not a guarantee of instant success — it is just one of the ministry steps/exercises that should be put into operation in deliverance.
- There are many other reasons why some deliverances are difficult, and it is necessary to work through these.
We will look at some of these instances at a later date as shown to us by Peter Horrobin in volume 2 of his book.
2. The controversy with the Pharisees, about Beelzebub raises a lot of issues, Mark and Luke have included as a part of the ongoing teachings arising from this incident, Jesus’ instructions about how to plunder a strong man’s house.
3. This advice given by Jesus in the middle of a discussion on deliverance and erases any likelihood of Jesus’ statements being misunderstood.
4. Jesus is saying if you want to break into a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, you must first tie up the strong man then you will be free to take as much as you want of his possessions.
* Luke adds and to carry away, the very weapons of the owner (occupier) of the house that he was depending on for his defense.
5. This statement is basically very practical advice on the spiritual mechanics of major deliverance ministries.
6. For there to be a strong man in occupation of a house there has to be weaker men under his control.
7. Jesus is saying that the demonic kingdom that operates inside of a demonized person is one that operates with a set chain of command that holds the person captive.
8. To deliver the person of all the lesser (weaker) demons, it makes sense to render the power of the stronger man ineffective (bind up his powers) so that he cannot defend his possessions. That is, the demon spirits who are defending him under his control.
9. Sometimes we do all we can to secure deliverance and just cannot be freed of the demons that is clearly manifesting itself even after repenting and seeking forgiveness.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit will lead you to ask questions that are strategic to the deliverance.
Example: Jesus asked legion his name. Horrobin asked: Who is your master (strong man)
* The lesser demon told him of the strong man above him to whom he answer to. (of course he was punished).
10. This demon was finally challenged when he said: I BIND YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND BY THE POWER OF HIS BLOOD, 1 FORBID YOU TO HOLD ONTO THE DEMONS UNDER YOUR CONTROL ANY LONGER.
11. Cast out the strong man (which had lost all the lesser demons/imps).
12. Luke’s account shows the weapon the strong man was depending on. He was now like an ordinary demon and thus could easily be cast out.
13. There are other times when even binding the strongman did not bring results (Horobin’s experiences).
* This led him to seek the Holy Spirit, the Lord showed him, that the strong man he was dealing with in this case was not inside the person but was a ruling spirit of the air that had direct control over the demons from the outside.
* The Lord showed hm that Satan had ruling spirits that had specific job functions over nations, regions, communities, cities, churches, individuals.
* In some sessions you have to sever the demons inside the person from the ruling spirits operating from the outside. This provided effective ministry for some categories of people.
Example: Victims of ritualistic sexual abuse. In some instances, the victim had to be set free from a ruling spirit that actslike a slavemaster holding the victim captive.
14. Another possible location for the strongman, which may be controlling a demon you may be attempting to deliver a person from, can be found in another person.
- This is usually possible if there are (soul ties) Such as exist between family members, sexual partners, close friends, etc.
- This soul tie is like a demonic tube through which the demons pass through freely from one person to another through which power and control can be exercised. This condition can wreak havoc in a person’s life.
These soul ties must first be broken before the person can be free.
15. Ungodly sexual relationships create soul ties.
1 Cor 6:15-17
Vs. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
Vs 16. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17. But he that.is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
16. NOTE: Some timely advice when doing deliverance.
- When demons manifest it is usually intended to disrupt the church service. It is suggested that the _demons in the person be bound/ so that you
can keep the person in service with the hope that the person can secure, healing, deliverance or salvation.
* If demons manifest in a person that does not want to be set free or a family member does not want the person to be set free. Example: Acts 16:19-20
Acts 16:19-20 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace-unto the rulers, V20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
* Bind up the spirits and get them into a controlled setting where deliverance can be carried out, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
17. QUESTION: Have sons been given authority to bind and loose?
* Scripture declares that Jesus has given us power to bind and loose with reference to Satan and his co-horts (imps). Matt. 18:18
* The context to this promise is in connection with Peter’s declaration concerning Jesus. “Thou are the Christ, the son of the living God.”
* Jesus’ Reply:
Matt 16:17-19 Vs. 17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Vs. 18 And I say also to thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Church given authority over the gates of hell).
Vs. 19. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
- This passage as said before is controversial in its interpretation.
- Once one understands the Christian’s power and authority over demon powers, and the setting in which Jesus himself was casting out devils, it makes it clear that it is in reference to binding the strong man and setting the captives free.
It makes a lot of sense.
18. What is the immediate context of authority over demon spirits and to bind and to loose?
- The immediate preceding phrase is and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (The Church).
* From this we can see the church is given complete authority over the gates of hell
- The amplified version says:
Matt 16:18
18 And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros — a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra — a huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].
- Here we see the church being pictured as a militant body, nothing can stop the church of Christ, not even Satan.
- 19. The power and authority given to us as believers to bind and loose Satan and (his fallen angels and his earthbound devils) is understood to mean that the believer has been given the “keys” of the kingdom of heaven.
- 20. The Greek word for kingdom is basileia which means “to rule”. God has promised that all those who inherit God’s kingdom shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Rom 5:17
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace.
Jesus was our example of walking in kingdom authority, the Apostles also followed his example. 2 Peter 2:21
1 Peter 2:21 For this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.
21. The word declares, we shall reign and rule as kings (walk as overcomers. Rev. 3:5) in this life, PRAISE GOD!
Matt. 24:13 He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
22. How could we do this apart from being able to bind the powers of the devil and to loose that which he has held captive.
23. This is exactly what the Lord has promised.
24. All true believers have been given authority and power over all the powers of darkness. Seen in Lk 9:1, Matt. 10:7-8, Lk. 10:18, Isa. 59:19.
25. It is no longer a prayer where we cry to God for help, it is a matter as rising up as sons with the power and authority which is in Christ and telling the devil what he is to do.
26. What does the phrase, “shall be bound in heaven, shall be loosed in heaven mean,”
27. Williams the bible translator points out for us the verb form is the perfect passive participle, so the reference is to things in a state of having been already forbidden (permitted).
28. This is saying to us that whatever we shall bind and loose on earth is already bound and loose by God in the heavens.
29. In Matthew 12:29 Jesus is teaching us what we need to do before we can enter a strongman’s house and spoil his goods. This makes it clear that Jesus already has bound the strongman and spoiled his goods and as we issue the like command and bind likewise and loose, it would have already been done by our Lord himself in the heavens and accordingly the results will manifest itself in the lives of those we are seeking to set free.
Matt 12:29
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
The context of this passage as we said before, finds Jesus casting out devils when He was-challenged by’ religious authorities.
30. Jesus explains that the demons are already subjected to the word of his commands, (Satan, the strongman and all his subordinates are already bound in the heavenlies.)
31. Since the demons obey the command of our Lord, when challenged is an indication that they are already bound by heavenly powers.
32. Matt. 16:19 says behold I give unto you the keys of the kingdom, is simply saying that the Lord Jesus has given us kingdom authority and power over the powers of Satan and his fallen angels. Lk. 10:18, Matt. 16:19.
33. The Greek word for bind in this passage before us is luo which means to fasten or tie he is made none functional, his powers are vetoed/rendered null and void, he loses his ability to carry out his many evils against us.
34 Believers are to obey the command of Christ by binding on earth what has already been bound in heaven. Expect the manifested results of your command as Jesus has already won the battle, 2000 years ago. That is exercise your authority, use the key.
35. What does loosing refer to? The loosing is setting the captives free.
36. Through deliverance ministry, the captives are released from the bondages of enslavement which Satan has put around -us.
Luke 13:11-12
- And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, could in no wise lift up herself.
- And when Jesus-saw her, he called her to him and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
37. The rulers of the synagogue were angered because this miracle was carried out on the Sabbath day. Luke 13:15-16 gives us our Lord’s reply:
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath
loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loose from this bond on the sabbath day.
38. The Greek word “to loose in the text is “luo.” It is defined in the Lexicon as “to loose anything” tied or fastened; to loose one bound; to set free, to free from bondage from fear, worry_or disease, (one held by Satan) by restoration to health. (Theyers) 1 Thes 5:23
1 Thess 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
39. The victory over demon spirits. is already won by. Jesus Christ when he rose victoriously over death, hell and the grave which could not hold him down. As far as heaven is concerned, every captive is already loosed. Jesus Christ paid the full price for our freedom on the cross through his broken body and shed blood. Through his broken and torn body and his shed blood.
40. The principle is the same for salvation which is already established in heaven for all.
41. Let us now ask ourselves this question: Why has the blood been shed for the redemption of our sins and everyone is still not saved?
42. For us to be saved, we must apply Ro. 10:9-10 by faith.
43. Those who refuse or neglect to apply the blood by faith in Jesus Christ are lost.
44. Jesus’ mission on this earth to set the captives free was fully accomplished when he freely gave himself up to be crucified so that we who are lost could find eternal life through the resurrection power that gave him victory/and us also over death, hell and the grave.
45. The key of loosing the captive is given to the believer. All believers who are obedient to the commands of Christ will see themselves carrying out all the scriptural injunctions referred to in this lesson.
46. Some agree that the loosing is in reference to the Holy Spirit or angels to fill a vacancy -left by departing demons.
- But is has been shown that the word loose is in reference to that which was bound and fettered, so it could not be in reference to Holy Spirit or angels.
- 47. Further, man does not have authority over angels. Angels are ministering spirits in behalf of those that are heirs of salvation. See Heb 1:14
Heb. 1:14
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
NOTE: They have been sent forth to minister on our
behalf. That is God’s business.
48. We can pray and ask God to release the angels, but we cannot command them. (It is not seen in scripture) We must look to God for our help and not to angels. See Col. 2:18-19.
49. Finally, once more, the word to bind refers to incapacitating, or rendering of none effect Satan’s powers, his fallen angels and his earthbound devils in the lives of the persons who have been held captive. This allows such captives to be loosed from the clutches of the enemy. This is what makes for effective deliverance ministry which falls in line with our Lord mission to the earth as seen in 1 John 3:8 which says, for the purpose was the son of God manifested that he may destroy the works of the enemy. Now let us g o forth as obedient soldiers in the army of God and bind up the powers holding us captive and loose ourselves to walk the over comers life and so be able to assure for ourselves an eternity with Christ where we shall rule and reign with him on his throne forever. SOME PRAYERS FOR REJECTION:
- Lord help me to find my true personality. Take me back to my childhood days and show me all the openings that came about through hurts, abuses and the absence of love, so I can release those people that offended me and secure myself freedom from all emotional bondages that came in through my wrong response to being rejected, so that I can once more walk in who I really am and not the personality I now am.
2. Lord remove the blockage, hurts from my life, so that your love can flow through me to influence the lives of others for you.
3. Lord, flood us with your love so that we can be confident and fearless, for perfect love casteth out all fear. Lord your love is everlasting for me, continue to draw us to you with loving kindness.
PRAYERS FOR BITTERNESS (OPTION #1) FROM LESSON #8
Heavenly Father I thank you for your enabling grace and your endless mercies that you have extended towards me. I thank you Lord for your saving and delivering powers over my life and for not allowing the enemy to rejoice over me. Thank you for your hands of protection and sustenance over my life, in the name of Jesus. Lord I will lift up your name and give you all the glory, honor and praises due to you for the rest of my days, even as my heart is cleansed from every filthy work of the flesh to serve you in holiness and righteousness, in the name of Jesus. Father today, I come before you and confess that I have harbored resentment, and entertained bitterness in my heart towards those who have hurt me, offended me and oppressed me. I know that this is sin and I confess it as sin and now ask that you forgive me as I have forgiven those that have offended me.
I now release everyone to your O Lord and ask that you forgive them, and I ask that you bless them with salvation and provide all their needs. Father, it is written that no root of bitterness should ever spring up in my life. Lord, empty me this day of every satanic element akin to the root of bitterness and fill me with your unspeakable joy, peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. It is written in Eph. 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger, clamor and slander be put away from ________O Lord My Father, give me the grace to lay aside this gall of bitterness and fill me with your love for my enemies, as commanded of you in Matt. 5:44, in Jesus name I pray. PRAYER FOR REBELLION FROM LESSON #9
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for forgiveness on behalf of myself and my ancestors for opening the door for the curse of rebellion to come upon me, my family line, my descendants and future generations. I break this curses all the way back to Adam and Eve, I ask you Lord to revoke the curses of rebellion over my life, my descendants, future generations and my ancestors as I forgive all of my offenders coming down the family line. For those who are alive I ask that you bless and save them as I release them to you in Jesus name. I ask you to release legions of

PRAYER AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF REBELLION
Sometimes we as parents have to battle the rebellious spirit in our children. What we need to remind ourselves is that we are not battling flesh and blood, we are fighting against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (EPH 6:12). Until we realize this we will not win. The spirit of rebellion is very rampant these days. For some reason the Bible equates rebellion with witchcraft. Rebellion against God and godly authority has led many people into disaster. The problem with yielding to this spirit lies in the fact that according to 2 Corinthians 1021-5, we can ONLY punish every disobedience AFTER our own obedience is fulfilled.
That is the reason rebellious people cannot exerci4 spiritual authority successfully and effectively. We want our children to be powerful spiritual beings so attacking rebellion is imperative. Rebellion is hindering our preteens, teens and young adults from being all they can be; puts a wrench in the plans that God has for our children. Do this exercise and I am sure you will not be sorry. PRAYERS BEFORE DELIVERANCE General – When finished praying the prayers you have selected, close them in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. The following prayers spoken by the deliverance worker are meant to be guidelines, not a firm ritual to be followed, and contain elements we have found to be important:
NOTE: For those who have not yet been saved, and anyone else that is unsure of his salvation, it is very necessary to recommit and invite Jesus to take up residence in your life before you engage the enemy in these serious warfare prayers. Many people have made a confession of Jesus Christ as their Savior when they were not serious about it and so Jesus has not yet come in. Prayer Before Deliverance (OPTION #2)
(Personal deliverance or mass deliverance)
We ask God to send the Holy Spirit, the seven-fold spirit of God, warrior angels, ministering angels and twelve legions of angels. We ask the warrior angels to come with their flaming, sharp two-edged swords capable of dividing spirit and soul.
We ask God to surround us, cut off communications between the demons outside and the demons inside, and remove loose demons around us.
We bind fallen angels and demons and loose ourselves from them. We call for spiritual warfare to set the captives free. We bind forces of evil, and loose forces of good that we have the power and authority to do so. In Jesus name I pray. (You can add into this prayer, Binding of Spirits)
We bind the spirits of: Leviathan, schizophrenia, double-mindedness, doubt, unbelief, confusion, deception, mind control, mind occult, Jezebel, death, witchcraft. For those with Roman Catholic connection: bind spiritual death, mind bondage, harlotry, brain washing, Babylon, false doctrine, religious deception, spiritual darkness, sorcery, quenching the spirit Matt. 16:19, Matt. 18:18.
STEP #2 Get the person to pray about their specific problems so that the blood of Jesus and cleans the people and take away their legal rights that the demons have to remain so that God can act.
You must personally repent of your sins.
SAMPLE PRAYER #1: PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS
Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are the son of God, I believe you died on the cross for my sins and you rose again from the dead and that you are at the right hand of the Father. Lord Jesus, your word says, in Gal. 3:;13 that you redeemed us from the curse of the law of sin and death, you blotted out all the ordinances that were written against us, and your blood cleanses me now from all of my sins even as I now forgive others who have wronged me or harmed me both the living and the dead. I lay down all resentment Lord, bitterness, hatred, rebellion and in particular, I forgive them _____NAME THE PEOPLE___ and I give them all to you Lord. I now ask you to forgive them and bless them with salvation. Lord Jesus I now ask you to forgive me and cleanse me by your precious blood, I accept your forgiveness and I chose to forgive myself, in Jesus name. Satan, I renounce you and all your evil works. I loose myself from you now, in the name of Jesus. I command you to leave me now, in Jesus name.
STEP #3 After the forgiveness of sins is taken care of hurts and sins, then break any demonic ties. For example: Break curses of ancestors coming down through the generational line or soul-ties caused by sexual sin, or witchcraft control which are also demonic ties.
BE REMINDED, WHENEVER BREAKING CURSES FROM YOUR ANCESTRAL LINE OR ANYONE THAT HAS DONE YOU HARM OR WRONG, YOU GO THROUGH THESE SIX STEPS TO FREEDOM FROM CURSES IN ORDER TO CANCEL THE LEGAL RIGHTS OF THE DEVILS THAT CAME IN AS A RESULT OF THE CURSES. THEN YOU PROCEED TO CAST THEM OUT.

I ask for forgiveness for my involvement in the occult, witchcraft, divination, scheming to murder, poisoning, infanticide, killing of family members (brothers, sisters, parents, children, and all other relatives), abortion, miscarriage, birth control that control fertilized eggs, adultery, ceremonial or ritualistic sacrifices. I nullify and renounce all invitations of death spirits into the family line. GENE’S AHAB CHARACTERISTICS
- Leaving spiritual leadership up to Earline about how to raise children.
- Breakdown of communications between Earline, Marie and me as I pursued spiritual goals but neglected my family.
- Fear of getting hurt by others especially by my family and Earline’s family.
- God of jobs at one time when I put my job first, family second and God last. Now it is reversed: God first, family second and job last.
- Leaving things of God to wife occurred partially such as receiving the Baptism. I suggested that Earline receive it first.
- I came from a poor family and had a materialistic drive until Byron died.
- We had many misunderstandings as Ahab husband and Jezebel wife.
- I did not believe in having an argument with my wife. So, I would go into my room, study engineering, and not talk to Earline.
- We even came close to separation and divorce at our low point about ten years ago.
- I was somewhat unemotional and could not show love the way I should.
- The greatest blessing was that God kept us from wholeheartedly pursuing fame and fortune before Byron died.
- Earline said I acted like an Ahab but did not give in anytime!
CLOSING MINISTER
Over the years we have learned that the spirit of Rejection, Bitterness, Rebellion are strong open doors to the spirit of Jezebel and Ahab; starting with Adam and Eve. Men and women are attacked by the Jezebel spirit. (Women with broken hearts that was never healed, your father was an angry man, Fornication, Sexual Abuse, Incest, Rape, Pornography, Involvement in the Occult are also open doors to Jezebel and Ahab. We are going to continue with our prayer points today to destroy the works of these spirits in our lives and the lives of our descendants. Eph.5:25-29 God commands that the husband love his wife as Christ love the Church. Love covers a multitude of sins; that was God’s prescription to block the Jezebel spirit from attacking the women. Men are the prime targets of the enemy because they are the key authority over the works of the devil. The devil knows that once the home comes into proper order, he does not stand a chance and will be defeated every time. Husbands must step up to the plate and not leave everything to the wife. We must hate these spirts and be aggressive about changing the way we do things to be free.
LET’S PRAY AND BREAK THE CURSE OF JEZEBEL
Father, I repent and renounce all of my sins that opened the door to the curse of Jezebel and Ahab.
I forgive my ancestors for practicing witchcraft, rituals, orgies, and the worship of Isis, Hathor, Medusa, Ishtar, Baal, Moloch, Lucifer, Mammon, and all other god and goddesses known or unknown, mentioned in this deliverance session. I renounce you all and destroy your works in my life in the name of Jesus. Lord, I ask you to destroy every legal right that Jezebel and Ahab have to remain in my life in the name of Jesus. As I break the curse of Jezebel and Ahab off my life and my descendants, I ask God to release his angels carry the demons wherever Jesus wants them to go. In the name of Jesus. I break all soul-ties, silver cords and ley lines by fire, that came as a result of the curse. O Lord my Father, restore the fragments of my soul back to their proper position as they were before Adam and Eve sinned and I give back all fragmented pieces of others souls that partook of the ungodly relationships with me, in the name of Jesus. Father, please heal my wounds, scars, mind, will, emotions, intellect and build up my walls in Jesus name, I pray.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. I cut off all communication with Jezebel from the second heaven in the name of Jesus.
2. I change their languages in the name of Jesus.
3. I renounce and destroy and strip Jezebel’s transmutations, transformations and permutation and judge you and call down the fire of the Holy Ghost upon your head.

5. I renounce and break all covenants, oaths and vows made by my ancestors, in the name of Jesus.
6. I nullify every ritual, ceremony and orgy performed for you Jezebel, by the blood of Jesus.
7. Every blood covenant executed by your direction Jezebel, be canceled by the power blood of Jesus.
8. With the ax of God in my hand, I renounce and break into pieces the pipeline from the pits of hell supplying Jezebel.
9. Every act of incest, violence, murder, rape done in your name, I cancel it by the blood of Jesus.
10. Every act of molestation, adultery, fornication, perversion, wickedness, done in your name, be canceled by the blood of Jesus.

RESTORING THE SOUL PRAYER
ALMIGHTY GOD, I ask you to send angels to gather and restore my soul to its rightful place in me. I ask for you to send your angels to unearth and break earthen vessels, bonds, bands and bindings that have been put upon my soul, willingly or unawares. I ask you to have them free my soul from bondage by whatever means is required. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is powerful and effective to do this.
I ask you to send your angels to gather and restore the pieces of my fragmented mind, will and emotions to their proper place. Bring them into their original positions perfectly as you planned them when you formed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
I have power and authority that has been delegated to me. I break, cast out and return to the sender, the power of curses upon my head and soul.
Lord I have a confession to make, I have not loved but resented certain people and have unforgiveness in my heart, and I call upon you Lord to help me to forgive them. I do now forgive (name them both living and the dead) and ask you to forgive them also Lord.

CLOSING DELIVERANCE PRAYER
Bind any spirits that are left in this person, separately in uncomfortable boxes with the angels reading scriptures to them and the shekinah glory of God, shining on them until this person receives more deliverance. If any evil spirit wishes to come out decently and in order, they may go with the angels that are waiting to take them wherever Jesus wants them to go.
2. All spirits that have come out during this deliverance must leave this person and this area and go with the angels wherever Jesus wants them to go and we forbid you not to return. We ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom to fill every vacancy that now exists with godly attributes so there is no space for a spirit to return.
3. We forbid all retaliation, backlash and vengeance from evil spirits on this person or family, property, finances, pets, or any of the deliverance workers, their families, properties, finances, or those that they pray for.

We thank the angels for doing battle for us in the heavenlies and for taking these spirits away, we thank the Holy Spirit for wisdom to fill the vacancies and for healing any wounds left as the demons come out. Put on the whole armour of God as set forth in Eph. 6:10-18. There are seven pieces of armour:
- Loins girt about with truth.
- The breastplate of righteousness.

Refuse the thoughts that demons give you and replace them with spiritual thoughts(Phil4:8).
Positive confession is faith expressed. Negative confessions characterize demonic influence and will open the door to the enemy (Mark 11:23).
Jesus withstood Satan’s temptation by using Scripture. The Word is a mirror to the soul (James 1:22-25); it is a lamp unto the feet for guidance (Psalm 119:105); it is a cleansing agent (Eph. 5:25-26); it is a two-edged sword, laying bare the heart (Heb. 4:12); and it is food for the spirit (I Pet. 2:2 ; Matt. 4:4). No person can long maintain deliverance apart from the Word of God as a primary factor in his life (Psalm 1:1-3)!
Take up your cross daily and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). If fleshly appetites, desires and lusts are not brought to the cross, a way for demons to return will be left open (Gal. 5:19-21, 24).
Develop a life of continuous praise and prayer which silences the enemy. Pray in the Spirit (in tongues) and also in the understanding (I Cor. 14:14). Pray without ceasing (I Thes. 5:17).
Maintain a life of fellowship and spiritual ministry. It is the sheep that wanders from the flock that is most endangered. Desire spiritual gifts and yield to their operation through you within the body of Christ (I Cor. 12:7-14).
Commit yourself totally to Christ. Determine that every thought, word and action will reflect the very nature of Christ. Faith and trust in God is the greatest weapon against the Devil’s lies (Eph. 6:16).
Doing these seven things will insure that your “house” (life) is filled after having been cleansed. Do not settle for anything less (Romans 5:10)!
HOW TO KEEP FREE FROM OPPRESSING SPIRITS (EXCERPTS)
Fill yourself with the Word of God and be obedient to what the Word says. You become God-possessed as you hear and do the Words of the Father. You become demon-possessed as you hear and do the words of the enemy (John 14:23).
Avail yourself of the Blood of Jesus. Learn to ask forgiveness when you sin. Learn to stand tall in His love and grace. Satan must respect the blood (Rev. 12:11).
Take your freedom by faith. This is your position, declare it, stand on the Word, get stubborn with the Devil, this is your heritage (Luke 10:19).
Resist the Devil, be sober and vigilant, resist steadfast in the faith, and he will flee from you (I Peter 5:8-10).
- A loving spirit is needed. Refuse to be hateful and mean; confess love (Matt. 5:44).
- A forgiving spirit is needed. An unforgiving spirit lets the enemy on you again (Mark 11:25).
- A tender spirit is needed. Jesus did not bite back. He was tender: you be like Him. Refuse to yield to the retaliation spirit; away with critical spirits. Learn to recognize the striving spirit, it is from the Devil, do not yield to it; it will bring you into bondage again. Learn to yield to the peaceable spirit; be a peacemaker. Learn to exercise mercy and gentleness; these are Christ-like actions. Remember any enemy spirit that you yield to will bring bondage. Yield to Christ’s love, meekness and tenderness, and liberation comes (II Tim. 2:24).
You must forsake sin lest a worse thing come upon you (John 5:14).
WALKING IN FREEDOM AFTER DELIVERANCE (EXCERPTS)
Have you been delivered from unclean spirits? Praise the Lord (Eph. 6:12; Mark 16:17).
Walking in the Spirit after a deliverance is essential in order to keep a person free (Eph. 6:1417).
It may be that unclean spirits from which you are now free had been with you for a very long time. In such cases, you can expect several weeks up to a year after deliverance during which the Lord will gradually heal your mind and emotions (Rom. 8:37).
In order to avoid the enemy’s snares, it helps to recognize some of his strategy.
The Scriptures say that Satan is the father of lies. Even though they are now outside of you, unclean spirits still talk to you (John 8:36).
One meaning for the word Satan is accuser. You may find yourself feeling guilty for having had unclean spirits or for your past sins (Psalm 13:5).
The enemy may try to intimidate you with demonstrations of his power. Don’t be frightened if things seem to go wrong for you for a while or if some symptoms from before deliverance seem to reappear.
You may find yourself tempted with old habits or behavior that doesn’t fit in with Christian life. The Devil has a way of making the old times seem rosy to us just like he tricked the Israelites in the desert into missing the “leeks and onions” that they left behind in Egypt (Jn 10:10; Psalm 37).
Recognizing the enemy’s strategy is helpful but it does not win the battle for us. It is more important that you learn and practice some positive principles that will enable you to gain ground quickly and hold it. The following five points are easy to remember and will help you tremendously:
- Focus your attention on Jesus (Rev. 12:11).
- Allow the Holy Spirit to have His way with you (John 16:13).
- Immerse yourself in the Scriptures; the Bible is the written Word of God (John 8:31).
- Tell the Devil and his unclean spirits in Jesus’ name to go away and leave you alone. Make it clear that you intend to follow Jesus no matter what (James 4:7).
- Hang onto other Christians. The Christian walk is not a solo performance (Gal. 6:2).
- If you practice these five faith principles, your post-deliverance problems will be minimal and your progress steady (Luke 4:17-21).
BY THIS I OVERCOME THE DEVIL (EXCERPTS)
- Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the Devil (Eph. 1:7).
- Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven (Psa. 107:2).
- The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, continually cleanses me from all sin (I John 1:7).
- Through the blood of Jesus, I am justified, made righteous, just-as-if I’d never sinned (Rom. 5:9).
- Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God (Heb. 13:12).
- My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, by the blood of Jesus (I Cor. 6: 19-20).
- Satan has no place in me, no power over me, through the Blood of Jesus and the Word of God (Rev. 12:11).
