The ABC’s of Salvation

In its simplest form, Salvation explains how to begin a genuine relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The ABCs provide three simple steps to help us understand how to receive eternal life and walk in freedom through faith:

A – Admit

Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
We are all born into sin and separated from God (Romans 3:23). We must acknowledge our rebellion, turn away from it, and recognize that we cannot save ourselves.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“The soul who sins shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)

B – Believe

Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again.  This means more than just knowing about Jesus it means trusting completely in His finished work on the cross and surrendering your life to Him. It is establishing a relationship with him (Rm10 :8-10), characterized by total reliance and obedience, and a desire to live in a way that honors Him.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

Believing involves:

  • Accepting His sacrifice as full payment for your sins (Is 53: 6; 1 John 2: 2; Heb10; Eph. 2:8, 9)
  • Relying on His teachings and obeying His Word (1 Samuel 15: 22; Luke 11: 28)
  • Turning away from your former lifestyle (Ephesians 4:22; Isaiah 43:18, 19)

C – Confess and Commit

Confess Jesus as Lord of your life and commit to following Him.  Salvation is not a one-time emotional moment. It’s a total life commitment, turning from the world and its ways and choosing to follow Christ daily.

“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…” (Acts 2:38)

What True Salvation Involves

When you give your life to Christ, real change begins. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Repenting of all sinful habits, pride, lust, anger, unforgiveness, and fear (Matthew 12:34–37)
  • Breaking ties with anything connected to the occult or false religions (e.g. witchcraft, horoscopes, yoga, Ouija boards, ungodly books, or music)
  • Purging your home and life from anything spiritually unclean or tied to darkness or false religions
  • Rejecting the world’s values of lust, pride, and materialism and leaving the worlds pleasures, comforts and material aspirations (1 John 2:15–17)
  • Embracing the suffering of Christ and learning obedience through it (1 Peter 2:21)
  • Committing to a sanctified life, set apart for God’s use, which means living a consecrated life, a holy life, only possible by going through the process of sanctification which is ongoing (2 Corinthians 7:1; 2 Timothy 2:21–22; Galatians 5:24).

How can healing and deliverance help?

Recognize that deliverance is a journey and Salvation opens the door, but walking in total freedom involves:

  • Healing from emotional wounds, rejection, and past abuse,
  • Breaking generational curses and ungodly soul ties and
  • Renouncing the effects of being born outside of God’s design (e.g., out of wedlock/illegitimacy curses)

Saying “I’m sorry” is a start but true repentance leads to cleansing, deliverance, and restoration.

Deliverance is not a quick fix. It is a spiritual process where God brings freedom step by step.

As you grow in the Word, walk in obedience, and submit to His will, He will bring deep and lasting transformation.  The quicker you and I submit and get rid of the above as you hear the Word, the quicker your freedom will be, the greater your confidence in Christ will rise.  The greater the anointing will be upon your life to become a fruit producer, and you will become a vessel through which God will use to push the gospel of healing, salvation and deliverance.

Our website’s goal is to empower you, inform you and provide you steps for self-deliverance, to free you and others from emotional, mental and physical disorders or generational curses.
