– We ask you Father to release 12 legions of angels and the Seven-fold Spirits of God to assist us in this battle as we stand on Hebrews 4:12. With the sword of the Spirit, we ask you to divide soul and spirit of everyone on this prayer line and deliver us, in Jesus name.
– We declare and decree that no plague or calamity shall come nigh our dwelling or our family from the heavenlies, from the atmosphere, from under the earth or from under the waters, in the Mighty name of Jesus.
– We are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, far above principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this world. We renounce Satan and put him on notice that we are attacking his kingdom from the power of the third heaven.
– Jesus Christ has already spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly. Col. 2: 15. We decree no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
– We give Satan his eviction notice and declare that his banners, scrolls and plans are burned to ashes, in the name of Jesus.
– We curse every evil alter and call down the fire of God to burn them to ashes. In the name of Jesus.
Father release your hand of judgment upon every power militating against us in Jesus name.
– We release this deliverance session to the leading of the Holy Spirit to heal us and deliver us, in the name of Jesus.
– We forbid any transference of spirits from ministers or anyone on this prayer line to anyone in the name of Jesus.

– We bind all strongholds of Fear, Doubt and Unbelief, Distraction, Oppression, Blocked Receiving of the Word, Spirits of Offense, Suspicion, Discouragement, etc.)

PROV. 3:24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
Today, we are going to tackle the demonic powers that keep us from enjoying that sweet sleep that this scripture refers to. Ps. 34:19 says Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers them from them all. Demonic powers attacks God’s people in their dreams and they must be dealt with. Any bad dream that is not challenged through prayer will bring much trouble to your and your loved ones.
PRAYER POINTS
- By the power of the blood of Jesus I cancel every bad dream that I’ve ever had, in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, release your consuming fire the burn to ashes every spirit of the dead appearing in my dreams, in the name of Jesus.
- Father release the Holy Ghost fire, and the Seven Fold Spirits of God to consume every power, attacking me in my dreams, in the name of Jesus.
- Let every satanic cat bringing sleeplessness at night, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, release your melting fire and boil the water of every marine husband/wife, in the name of Jesus.
This evening we will be continuing with brief statements under the heading, “Depths of Satan.” This outline on the Depth of Satan are sharp reminders of the many subtilties of Satan which are all designed to ensnare/hold the people of God in bondage. Many of these topics that we are looking at in this outline have already been dealt with in past lessons and will be dealt with more extensively in lessons to come. Our next subheading will be Satanic Worship.
SATANIC WORSHIP (EXCERPTS)
Idolatry – False Teachers
Idolatry is the worship of anything other than God. There are many forms of religious and other types of sin which will lead you into bondage.
False Religions
Since you are not worshipping God, you become open to deception and demonic attack. Even non-Christian organizations, such as humanism, also have religious connotations. There is a lot of religious error even in Christian organizations by anyone that does not follow the whole Bible.
From this statement we can quickly determine that if you are not teaching the whole Bible, you are a false teacher, your religion is false – you are a worshipper of Satan. See what the Lord says about these in 2 Tim. 1:9-11, Jon 4:24, Prov. 4:14, Prov. 24:1To add further scriptural clarity to the above statement, we will look at what God says in his word about false religions.
2 Tim. 1:9-11 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Vs. 10 If there come any unto you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him good speed: vs. 11 For he that bideth him good speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
John 4:24 God is Spirits and he that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.
Prov. 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked and go not in the way of evil men.
Prov. 24:1 Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.
Scriptures:
1. Matt. 7:15-20 tells us to beware of false prophets.
False Prophet Defined: One who falsely claims the gift of prophesy or divine inspiration or to speak for God or who make such claims for evil ends. Someone who makes prophetic utterances that does not come to pass.
2. Matt. 7:21-23 Not everyone that says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
3. 1 John 4:1-3 Beloved do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.
Some godly spirits are: Spirit of Wisdom, Spirit of God, Right Spirit, Holy Spirit, Free Spirit, Broken Spirit, Spirit of Princes, Faithful Spirit, Good Spirit, Spirit of Grace, Humble Spirit, Spirit of Elijah, Spirit of Holiness, Quickening Spirit, Spirit of Revelation, Spirit of Understand, Spirit of Judgement, Spirit of Knowledge, Spirit of Meekness, Meek and Quite Spirit to name of few. Anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes, or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who enquires of the dead. Who soever does these things are an abomination to the Lord.
Occult Spiritism
Sixteen different varieties of spiritualistic practices may be conveniently divided into the following categories:
(1) physical phenomena (levitations, apports and telekinesis),
- Apport Def.: Motion or production of an object by a spiritualist medium without apparent physical agency. (Action or intervention such as to produce a particular affect)
- Telekinesis: Is an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to influence a physical system without physical interaction.
(2) psychic phenomena (spiritualistic visions, automatic writing, speaking in a trance, materializations, table lifting, tumbler moving, excursions of the psyche)
- Phenomena Def.: A fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen, especially one whose cause or explanation is in question.
- Materialization: Something that has been materialized, especially an apparition.
(3) metaphysical phenomena (apparitions, ghosts)
- Apparitions Def. A ghost like image of a person.
(4) magic phenomena (magic persecution, magic defense) and
(5) cultic phenomena (spiritualistic cults, spiritism among Christians). Practitioners are spiritualistic fortune-tellers, clairvoyants, witches, charmers, consulters with familiar spirits (mediums) and necromancers.
WITCHCRAFT
Satanic Worship
This is open-blatant worship of Satan. It is black witchcraft of the worst kind. There are Satanic churches. There is a lot that we have already dealt with in previous lessons, you can go back to review at your convenience. Most of the lessons so far are witchcraft oriented.
Satanic Ritual Abuse – Some Statements
- The worst form of occult ritual abuse is that done by the Satanists who program the person to follow Satan all of their lives.
- This is trauma-based Monarch Mind-Control of Illuminati-Programmed Slaves: total and undetectable mind-control.
- Their terrorized fragmented-divided dark-side alters with Multiple Personality Disorders (MPD) are brutal, secret, immoral and controlled to function in illusion and lies.
- There are blood covenants and sacrifices, sexual sealings, invocations of demons, demonizations of fetuses with Moon Child rituals, voodoo, witchcraft, psychics, drugs, hypnotism, electronics, electro-shock, hunger, fatigue, tenseness, threats, violence and other control methodologies.
- Fear, terror and torture are used to split the mind and develop animalistic demonic drives to survive. Controlled LSD trips in sensory deprivation tanks, chronology of layering in mind-control programming, cranial manipulation, movie mind-control, implants, nanobots, thought-transfer, soul entrapment, Dissociative programmed multiplicity, controlling minds electronically, implants, energy beamed at minds, and other secret evil technologies.
6. There may be 364 levels of demons, 169 principle alter personalities, three ceremonial alters, Beta and Delta alters, MPD, Dissociative Identity Disorders (DID), and switching of alter personality or fragment.
7. Satanic Ritual Abuse creates total mind control consisting of alters, programming, implants, internal computers and Dissociative states of the ego-psycho-physiological states of the mind.
8. Some Paranoid Schizophrenics may be programmed multiples. (See Lesson/Session 7 on Schizophrenia).
9. Obscured concepts include programmed MPD (DID) for trained multiples, recovered memories, hypnosis, demonic possession, aliens, mind-control, the subconscious, sadistic and criminal alters, and conspiracy to bring in a NWO.
Hope for The Christians
But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with three, and I will save thy children. Isaiah 49:23-26 The powerful deliverance out of captivity. The least Christian is greater than anyone in The Old Testament because of Jesus Christ.
Occult and Witchcraft
We refer you to earlier lessons on the occult and witchcraft at your convenience.
There is tremendous damage done because all of these are forms of following and worshiping Satan. Witchcraft would include the worst form such as Voodoo to the least form such as common witchcraft. Examples are paraphernalia, communicating with the dead, reciting incantations, using certain herbs for magical purposes, reading occult literature and casting spells.
Witchcraft Attacks in Dreams
The dream realm is a little-known arena of spiritual warfare. Just as God works through dreams, Satan also counterfeits this method. Sleep is a war front of demonic manipulation and attacks.
The Lord uses dreams as another way of communicating, instructing, warning, rebuking, inspiring, elevating, demoting or provoking us. Dreams are also used to forewarn you, of the enemy’s snares laid ahead. If you have bad dreams, rebuke the spirits behind the bad dreams. If you refuse to take authority, that’s where the come at you. See Isa. 29:8. Ask the Lord for interpretation to your dreams, he will send his angels to convey his word to you. It is not a good thing to ignore your dreams. You need to understand what God is saying to you for your own benefit.
A FEW STATEMENTS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR DREAMS AND A FEW EXAMPLES OF DREAMS AND THEIR INTERPRETATIONS.
- It makes you aware of upcoming events you are likely to be confronted with.
- It gives God’s plans/instructions or informs you of the devil’s snares ahead.
- It sharpens your spiritual alertness and enables you to revoke any evil program the enemy has arranged against your life or your loved ones.
- A couple Examples of Dreams and their interpretations:
- Having sex in a dream – Relates to spirit wife/husband – incubus, succubus spirits, these are marine spirits, they fight against your marriage, they put parts of their soul in you to control, monitor and pollute your life. If you have lived a life of promiscuity/lustful, then these spirits will be attracted to you as they see themselves in you. It could also be a generational issue where your ancestors lived a very promiscuous life, or you could be a descendant from a polygamous blood line.
- Seeing a coffin or dying in a dream could be physical, spiritual, financial, marital ruin about to take place in your life. You must pray violently against those spirits – Break the curses on your life and cast out the spirits of all the above. Example: Financial ruin, etc.
- Going back to your childhood days, the enemy plans to reverse your progress in the things of God (spiritual stagnation, and backwardness) in general in all areas in your life.
- Being pursued in a dream by animals – problems are up ahead for you in your life. – Break those curses and free your-self from such snares.
Charismatic Witchcraft
This is witchcraft practiced by Christians against each other. It includes Jezebelic practices, prophesy used to control, pastors that are dictators, and anyone who attempts to control others. Christians pray psychic prayers for other Christians that Satan answers rather than God. A lot can be written about this subject but for now we are giving a brief preview of this wide-ranging subject which we will learn more about later on in these sessions. Where there Is control by those in leadership and among the congregants, many demons are released on those that are controlled. Demons are also very much present in the controllers. This practice is basically what we call as mind control.
We should be reminded that soul-ties are formed with those whom we submit our wills to. Soul-ties can be formed with leaders of the church as well as with anyone in the occult that we go to for help. A dictatorial pastor will form an evil soul-tie with his congregation. We refer you to a previous lesson on Soul-ties to be found in Session #3. CLICK HERE
SOME CHARISMATIC WITCHCRAFT SYMPTOMS:
- Questioning Jesus, (the Word of God). Your Faith, your pastor, always finding fault.
- Trouble paying attention, difficulty processing the Word of God, retaining the Word of God. Lose of focus, easily distracted. Not given to details. Not seeking to consider all factors needed to be looked at before making a decision.
- Having difficulty focusing on one thing at a time.
- Struggling to make ends meet, having to labor hard with little results – having lots of unforeseen problems cropping up in your daily life.
- Easily discouraged, always feeling sad – not enthusiastic in defending your faith and a loss of zeal to witness.
- Easily angered/offended, irritated – when witches cast an incantation against you, it can cause anger against yourself, others, angry at God when you are not getting that which you desire.
- Main reason aside from witchcraft in your life is simply a sin issue with you that hinders the Lord from honoring your request.
- Infirmities of the mind, soul and body.
- Being tired/fatigued – never feeling rested.
Cursed Objects
Having cursed objects in your possession causes you to be cursed. The demons then have a right to attack you, your family, and whatever you have a part in. Ex. 20:4-5 For more information on this subject, we refer you to Lesson #3 under “Cursed Objects” and “Demonic Infestation.”
Cursed Objects and Demon Infestation – Prayer
Lord Jesus, I ask that you forgive me for having cursed objects in my home. Show me by the Holy Spirit what to destroy:
- Books and objects identified with anything related to Satan’s Kingdom.
- Sinful activities of former residents that left curses.
- Knocking or noisy ghosts and apparitions (poltergeist).
- Owl and frog images of all types.
- Witch’s mask and fetishes used by witch doctors.
- Objects and literature that pertain to false religions, cults, the occult and spiritism.
- Graven images of gods (demons).
- Objects dedicated to demons (idols and artifacts).
- Ouija boards or other occult paraphernalia.
- Prayers and worship to demons bring curses on home.
- Mexican sun gods; idols, incense; Buddhas; hand carved objects from Africa or the Orient; anything connected with astrology, horoscopes, fortune telling, etc.; books or objects associated with witchcraft, good luck charms or cult religions (Christian Science, Jehovah’s Witnesses, metaphysics, etc.); rock and roll records and tapes.
- Jewelry given to a person by someone in witchcraft, hex signs, ancient geometric and mystical motifs, jewelry designed to bring good luck and act as talisman to chase evil.
- Egyptian ankh, Polynesian tikkis of gods, broken cross (peace symbol), chains, African jujus, Italian horn, protectors from the evil eye, hand with index and little fingers pointing up, crosses, clovers, stars, wishbones, lucky coins, mystic medals, horseshoes, religious fetishes and statues.
- Products with cryptic curses (hidden, secret, occult curses).
- Puppets, cult objects or representations. Dolls used for witchcraft and magic.
SEX
Sexual Abuse
Rape, attempted rape, sexual assault and other areas of sexual abuse are very hard on the victim. It could include sexual dysfunctions and injuries.
SOME DEFINITIONS: Sexual abuse is usually thought of as a young girl by a man. While this is perhaps the most common form of sexual abuse, abuse of young boys by women is not unknown, and the abuse of young boys by older men in homosexual abuse is very common indeed. The abuse can follow a sequence of abusive behavior which can include any or all of the following: visual abuse, voyeurism (getting pleasure in watching others carrying out the sexual act), uninvited caressing, handling of the sexual areas, anal handling, masturbation in front of the victim, enforced oral sex, mutual masturbation; intercourse/rape; anal intercourse/rape; bestiality; ritualistic sex; incest-sexual contract of any degree with a member of one’s own family; marital abuse – where sexual demands and practices go beyond the rightful physical relationships which God planned and purposed for men and women.
All sexual abuse has spiritual consequences leaving the victims wide open to the danger of demonization. The demonic can enter directly from the abuser (and usually does), but in addition, there is the danger of specific demonization through fear, confusion, deception, pain, and other emotional traumas.

Abnormal Sexual Behavior
The only godly sex is intercourse between legitimate husband and wife. Everything else is demonic. It could include pornography and sexually transmitted diseases. This is a fertile area for demons to play in. It is the strongest drive outside of the drive to live.
DELIVERANCE
Basic Deliverance
Everyone gets attacked in the area of Rejection, Bitterness and Rebellion. It is a lifelong battle that we face. It is one of the primary ways that Satan starts us on the way to being demonized in other areas. Unforgiveness is one of the main traps that we all fall into which leads us into Bitterness. Repentance is the key to deliverance. Basic deliverance includes the battle, schizophrenia, cleaning house and maintaining deliverance. See the Deliverance Manual.

Advanced Deliverance
Once a person has entered into Rejection, Bitterness and Rebellion, then Satan leads them into other areas such as sexual sin. See the Deliverance Manual.
Individual And Mass Deliverance
Everyone needs deliverance. We started with lay Christians, then five-fold ministers and finally deliverance ministers. Christians have many demons. They are very demonized, not demon possessed.
How Not To Do Deliverance
Satan even attacks us in the arena of doing deliverance. If we do not follow God’s methods, we open ourselves up to being attacked by Satan.
Children
Children need to be delivered while they are young, preferably before they leave home. It is easy to deliver young children by their parents who have the greatest spiritual authority over the children.
Education And Experience
You must educate yourself and family, and get experience in deliverance. Get head knowledge and experiential knowledge; both are required. Become a Warrior for Christ.
PRAYERS
Confession Of The Christian Faith
I hereby make a positive confession, that I am a child of God, that I believe in God The Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son, who was conceived by The Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. I believe that He was crucified for the remission of all sin, died and was buried, went down into Hell and rose again on the third day, and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God The Father. I believe in The Holy Spirit who was sent by Christ to indwell and fill us who believe.
Renunciation Of The World, The Flesh, And The Devil
I hereby make a positive confession, that I am a child of God, and am a member of the light. As such, I renounce the Devil and all his works, the vain pomp and glory of the world, with all covetous desires of the same, and the carnal desires of the flesh, so that I will not follow, nor be led by them. I want absolutely nothing to do with the Kingdom of Darkness, and desire to walk only in the light.
General Prayer
I forgive the country of my origin and every nationality that is a part of my being for their sins; those involved in my traumatic experiences; those who have deeply hurt me emotionally, physically and sexually; those that I have had a hard time forgiving; those that have caused me emotional problems and struggles; anyone who hates me and would wish to harm me; any church for teaching false doctrines; and my ancestors for sins, illnesses and accidents that are repetitive.
Forgive me for my sinful habits; moving in false gifts; sexual activities and one-flesh unions; involvement in cults, occult activities and false religions; active and passive sinful activities; opening myself through sin to mental, physical, spiritual and material problems; making vows, pacts, oaths and dedications to lodges, clubs and societies; everything that I have done that causes me to feel guilty; and being involved in any ungodly religious and secular activities and organizations. I ask these things in The Name Of Jesus Christ, my Lord, Master and Savior.
I now break every legal hold and ground that I have the right to do so before God: inheritances, addictions, mental illness, physical disease, soul ties, demonic holds, curses, idolatry, witchcraft, occult, false worship, ritual abuse, and false personalities in the conscious, subconscious and unconscious minds. I command every family of spirits to manifest and come out of me as your name is called.

Lord Jesus Christ, I forgive my ancestors and anyone else that has practiced any form of witchcraft that would affect me and my descendants. Please forgive me for practicing any form of witchcraft and cursing my descendants.
We break all curses and control of witchcraft as uttering a wish of evil against one; to call for mischief or injury to fall upon; to execrate, to bring evil upon or to; to blast, vex, harass or torment with great calamities; individuals working in concert with an evil specific form of evil spirit activity; Satanic covens of witches and warlocks; persons dabbling with witchcraft and sorcery, casting spells, potions, enchantments and curses: wrong kinds of psychic prayers; and witchcraft control.
I am now closing any door I may have opened to you, Satan, through contact with witchcraft, occult, and similar activities. I am closing the door against all these things I know about and all the things I don’t know about. I renounce you and all your demons and I’m closing every door I may have opened. Christ redeems those who put their trust in Him. Jesus Christ became cursed on the cross for us and blotted out the handwriting of ordinances against us. We claim and apply these principles. We break the curses back to ten generations or even to Adam and Eve. All legal holds and legal grounds are removed in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We break all curses, spells, hexes, etc. sent upon us by envious enemies who seek to harm us or kill us or wreak havoc physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually. We bind and order any demons to come out of us and return to the senders escorted by angels to destroy that seat of witchcraft. The demons are commanded to confuse and sow terror and panic in the hearts of witches and warlocks.

COMBINATION PRAYER AGAINST REJECTION, BITTERNESS AND REBELLION Almighty God, I forgive those who have rejected me, bitter against me, and have rebelled against me. Please forgive me for rejection, bitterness and rebellion against others. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the spirits to come out of the unconscious, subconscious and conscious mind. Lord, remove the blockage and hurt from my life, so that your love can flow through me to impact the lives of others for you. Flood me with your love so that we can be confident and fearless. We ask God to surround us, cut off communications between the demons outside and the demons inside, and remove loose demons around us.
We bind fallen angels and demons and loose ourselves from them. We call for spiritual warfare to set the captives free. We bind forces of evil, and loose forces of good that we have the power and authority to do so. In Jesus name I pray. (You can add into this prayer, Binding of Spirits)
We bind the spirits of: Leviathan, schizophrenia, double-mindedness, doubt, unbelief, confusion, deception, mind control, mind occult, Jezebel, death, witchcraft. . THE DELINQUENT PERSONALITIES (PSYCHOPSYCHOSIS)
GENERAL
Gene and I have come to believe that a lot of delinquency is the result of homes out of divine order. Neglect or hate for the children and abuse of children hardens their hearts and leaves a child unable to enter society and fulfill his divine purpose.
When people are hurt and do not completely forgive, they let Satan’s demons minister to them, and build a demonic personality in their mind and body. This personality is not normal and it usually is not pleasant.
It is healing to the body and mind to completely forgive – holding nothing back. When you have nothing against others, the next step is to forgive yourself completely.
Then, with obedience to the Biblical principles, you can build a healthy mind. It will not be easy but it will be the most exciting thing you will ever do. One common ingredient in all delinquent personalities is the almost total lack of Godly principles
What is the root cause of most personality problems? In the people we have worked with, it has originated with a very serious rejection. The ultimate rejection is the murder of the unborn. An attempted abortion which failed or nine months of the parents wishing you would die before or at birth. You may think these things do not affect people, but they do. As a result of not being wanted, a person will spend a lifetime trying every means he can think of to get people to accept him. If he cannot get a feeling of acceptance, he will become increasingly more removed from normalcy. Becoming more bitter, he will eventually rebel against all authority.
Children who are betrayed through abuse can hardly trust anyone – even God. They cannot comprehend true love; therefore, they cannot accept nor comprehend the love of Jesus. They cannot understand abiding help, therefore they cannot understand the work of the Holy Spirit. God does not promise a life without pain or loss, but He shows us how to respond to all parts of our life. Read Hebrews 12 and don’t neglect to read the last half.
Most crimes against people and property are committed by people suffering from manias. Theft, arson, rape, assault, murder is some of the acts that neurotics commit. Some crimes are committed by retarded people.

I thank you for forgiving and cleansing me from unrighteousness. I give my affections and life to You. I ask You to empower areas of my life, so they will be used in service to You. I renounce demonic ties of affection and ask that You help me with agape love.
I break demonic power and authority over my life and affections. I break the hold these sins have had on me. I break soul ties. I break inherited curses and those I have brought upon myself and my descendants. I break curses which have come to me as a result of demonic associations.
I remove myself from demonic authority exercised over me. I come against the demonic authorities who controlled and motivated my relationships. I reclaim ground that I have given to Satan in body, soul and spirit. The Book of Joel states that those who call on the Name Of The Lord shall be delivered. I hate Satan, his demons and his works; I count that which offends You as my enemy. I accept your forgiveness and cleansing. 5. SEXUAL HARASSMENT – ABUSE ASSAULT – VIOLENCE
SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Sexual harassment is unwanted, deliberate or repeated sexual behavior: comments, gestures or touching. The person hearing, seeing or being touched does not want this attention and is frequently uncomfortable and embarrassed. Sexually suggestive objects, signs, magazines or pictures may be sexual harassment, too.
Sexual harassment can also be unlawful sex discrimination if there is a subtle or direct threat that a sexual or social relationship is part of your job or your educational performance. The threat can be about any part of your job: wages, promotions, REFERENCES, working conditions; or your educational performance: grades, honors, course work, scholarships.
SEXUAL ABUSE
Indicators from the child’s behavior: visible emotional distress; fear of specific persons; regression into outgrown behavior, such as bed-wetting or thumb sucking; complaints of abdominal pain or sore throat; fear of going to bed or of sleeping alone; poor concentration and short attention span, especially at school; withdrawal from others; foreign objects collected from the child’s clothing or body; running away; alcohol and substance abuse.
Your child may be very upset. Your child may have disturbed sleeping patterns such as nightmares, fear of going to bed, fear of sleeping alone or bed-wetting, loss of appetite, irritable nature and lose patience easily, more temper tantrums, the wish to withdraw from usual activities, difficulty at school such as poor concentration, short attention span and loss of interest in classroom activities.
When you take the child to a doctor, hospital or clinic, you may be given other information which might serve to corroborate sexual abuse: a description of injuries to the child, results of laboratory tests and examinations for spermatozoa or seminal fluid, results of tests for sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy, posttraumatic stress disorder.
What is child sexual abuse? Since childhood sexual curiosity is normal, it is important to understand what is meant by child sexual abuse. The victim can be found in all social and economic levels and in all ethnic groups.
In the broadest sense of the term, child sexual abuse may refer to any situation of forcible sexual activity involving a child sixteen years old or younger: sexual contact between a child and another person in which threats, bribery or similar methods are used to get the child to participate; any sexual contact between a child and an adult; sex crimes against children such as rape, fondling, incest, molestation, exhibitionism, sodomy, childhood pornography and child prostitution.
Sexual abuse is seductive behavior; indecent exposure; sexual touching, fondling or game playing; oral, anal or vaginal intercourse. Boys as well as girls may have been sexually abused. Incidents may have occurred just once or many times.

What are the facts about child sexual assault? One in three females will be sexually assaulted by age 18. One in six males will be sexually assaulted by age 18. A large majority of child sexual assault cases are not reported. Ninety percent of sexually assaulted children are assaulted by someone they know. Child sexual assault is not sex. It is estimated that only one out of every ten cases is reported; so that each year, there may be between 200,000 to 500,000 child victims of sexual abuse.
Facts: Statistics indicate that more than one-third of all rapes take place in the victim’s home and over half of the attackers are known to the women who become their victims. Researchers estimate the actual number of rapes to be approximately four times the reported number, or one quarter of a million rapes per year. Sixty to seventy-five percent of all rapes are planned in advance. Eighty-five percent of all rapes are accompanied by violence or the threat of violence.
There is no single reaction to the experience of sexual assault, but there are common patterns of response. The return to trust may be a long and arduous process. The reactions of family and friends to the rape victim have a strong effect on her recovery from crisis. Doctors, police and attorneys in many states have joined together to support the victim as she moves through the system of justice. Community rape crisis centers provide support to the victim.
SEXUAL VIOLENCE
Domestic violence is the intimidation and physical abuse of one family or household member by another. This abuse may range from harassment to battery to murder.
Violence: Acceptable behavior toward women? Every eighteen seconds a woman is beaten or abused by someone she loves. Both domestic violence and sexual assault have a long history as acceptable behavior toward women. Both are violent crimes and women share with the victims of other types of violent crimes the feelings of helplessness and loss of control which are typical responses.
Women may be assaulted or abused, not as individual persons, but for what they represent. Violence toward women is most appropriately viewed as the historical and current expression of male dominance.
Both of these crimes against women may be seen as a show of masculinity motivated by power and anger with the purpose of controlling or dominating the victim. There is no “typical victim” of sexual assault or domestic violence, there are only women who unwittingly become caught in a brutal power game over which they feel little or no control.
Domestic Violence: The denial surrounding domestic violence is astonishing given its long history and acceptance by society. Researchers estimate that one and a half to three million women are beaten each year. This means that domestic violence occurs in one out of every four homes. And forty percent of all the women who are murdered annually are killed by their husbands or boyfriends. Physical abuse is happening all the time to all kinds of women. It cuts across economic, social and ethnic lines. And the man who beats his partner could be any man. He beats her not because she provokes him or because she deserves it, but because he can get away with it. The notion of women as property, the idea that a man may chastise his wife to keep her “in line” is inherent in this socially accepted violence. The abused woman is the victim of a violent crime, but she may have no other place to go.
The battered woman lives in fear. If she tries to defend herself, the violence may escalate. If she leaves, she may be pursued and beaten even more brutally as punishment for her flight. The abused woman is trapped in her violent home. They are truly not responsible for their partners’ violence.
A battered woman soon learns that any action on her part can be the excuse for a violent episode. The battered woman may have seen violence in her family. Afraid to leave and afraid to stay, tied economically and emotionally to the abuser, the battered woman may slip into despair.
